Our mission: To empower and motivate others in their own transformations and self-care journeys. Invest in YOU. This is your time. This is your STRONG.

09/28/2026

At 51, I've realized midlife requires at least 6 kinds of strength.

Physical strength to stay capable.

Energy to participate in the life you're building.

Resilience to adapt when life doesn't follow the f-ing plan.

Self-trust to hear what YOU want beneath everyone else's expectations.

Courage to act before every detail feels certain.

Community because we were never meant to navigate this chapter alone.

Our bodies aren't the only things changing in midlife.

Our lives are changing too.

Kids grow up.

Parents age.

Careers shift.

Relationships evolve.

Priorities change.

And sometimes you realize...

I don't want the next 20 years to look exactly like the last 20.

We're days away from leaving the home where we've lived for nearly two decades.

And I've never been more grateful for the strength I've spent years cultivating.

Not because it made me smaller.

Because it gave me more capacity for what's next.

Maybe that's what midlife is asking from us.

Not to shrink.

To BUILD.

What do we need to BUILD for the next half?

The newest episode of The Midlife Muscle Manifesto is the perfect companion to this conversation:

🎧 How to Eat More Protein After 40 Without Tracking Everything

I'm breaking down why lifting alone isn't enough to build muscle AND 6 simple ways to hit your protein goals without turning food into another full-time job.

My Muscle-First Framework = Creating a synergistic environment where your body can actually BUILD.

The goal isn't creating some meaningless streak.

No “on.”

No “off.”

No Monday redemption tour.

Just making the next aligned choice.

This is where self-trust gets built.

Comment PLATE if food is where you want to start.

I have created something pretty fantastic.

Let's say you want a protein-rich snack using the Greek yogurt and canned pumpkin you have on hand for your fat-loss goal while on a GLP-1?!  You enter into the customized fields and within seconds you will have a few options.

No guesswork.  No decision-making.  No hangry decisions.

10 years.

Same amazing, talented, visionary photographer.

Very different ME

The biggest transformation isn’t visible in any of the pictures.

It’s the fact that I wasn’t trying to change my body before I allowed it to be photographed.

That’s freedom I couldn’t have faked 10 years ago.

And damn, did we have fun.

What’s something you’re done waiting to feel “ready” for?  Drop it ⬇️

I don't prep seven Pinterest-worthy meals in divided containers every week. I prep ingredients.

Why?

I'm not meal prepping for Sunday Ami.

I'm prepping for sh*t-is-going-sideways-Wednesday Ami.

The one with calls, boxes, clients, wind mitigation studies (did you know this was a thing?!), 33 unanswered texts, paperwork and approximately 927 things on her mind. 😂

I rely on...

My 3-2-2-2 Method in 60.

3 proteins.
2 carbs.
2 vegetables.
2 flavor or fat options.

60 minutes max.

Then Wednesday Ami opens the refrigerator and assembles.

No decision fatigue.
No perfect recipe.
No starting over.

Just food that supports my muscle and my life.

The goal isn't perfect nutrition.

It's making the supportive choice EASIER.

Comment PLATE, and I'll send you my free Muscle-First Plate Builder.

I created this interactive tool to allow you to plan a protein-centric meal or snack within 60-seconds …

Utilizing the food you have in your fridge.
Meeting your preferences.
Aligning with your goals.  Yes, even an option if you are on a GLP-1.

This will take out the guesswork, save you money and dramatically decrease your mental load.

All while progressing your fat loss and muscle-building power.

Cannot wait for you to check it out! Let me know what you think! ⬇️

Your health plan should make your full life easier to carry.

Not become another thing you have to carry.

Follow me for Muscle-First Midlife without the diet-culture bullsh*t.

Right now, in the midst of a move...

I'm not trying to hit every health habit every day.

I'm doing LESS.

But the things I'm doing?

They matter.

I follow my strength plan.
I make protein-forward food stupid easy.
I walk.
I protect bedtime.
I interrupt GO mode.

That's basically it.

If your health routine only works when life is quiet...

you don't have a consistency problem.

Your system might suck. 😂

This season is teaching me that the answer isn't always adding another habit.

Sometimes the strongest move is deciding what matters enough to KEEP.

What could you remove right now? 👇

Need help simplifying your protein intake?

I GOT YOU.

Comment PLATE BUILDER.

I will send you my new, FREE interactive tool that gives you a protein-centric meal or snack based on your preferences, goals and food-on-hand in SECONDS.

Same woman. Same drive. Same willingness to work hard.

Completely different operating system.

For years, my definition of progress was built around proving how much I could do.

How far could I run?
How hard could I push?
How much could I burn?
How disciplined could I be?

And listen, that version of me got me pretty damn far.

I’m proud of her.

But midlife has asked me a different question:
What are you BUILDING?

Muscle. Strength. Energy. Resilience. Metabolic health. A body I trust.

A body capable of carrying the bigger life I still want to live.
I don’t need to prove how much I can endure anymore.

I want to see how much I can become.

And THAT is the conversation we’re having on this week’s episode of The Midlife Muscle Manifesto.

Because sometimes the version of you that got you here isn’t wrong.

She just can’t be the only version of you leading what comes next.

Then tell me:
Which side of this carousel hit you the hardest?

09/20/2026

I spent a lot of years being proud of the woman who could push through anything.

And I should be.

She got the grades.
She was hired for the job.
She ran the races.
She followed the plan.
She stayed disciplined.
She could always find another gear.

That identity served me.

Until it didn't.

The problem wasn't that I suddenly became less disciplined in midlife.

The problem was that when my body started changing, I kept asking that same woman to fix it.

Push harder.
Control more.
Try again.

That's what she knew how to do.

Eventually I had to ask a very different question:

What if the woman who got me HERE isn't the woman I need to become NEXT?

That started a completely different pursuit.

Not becoming less driven.
Learning to use that drive differently.

I stopped measuring my health by how much I could endure and started asking what I was actually building.

Muscle.
Strength.
Energy.
Resilience.
Trust in my body.

And maybe most importantly...
a future.

I don't want to spend this chapter desperately trying to recreate a previous version of myself.

I want to meet the woman I'm becoming.

And build a body strong enough to carry HER life.

That's the payoff I never expected.

Not a smaller version of me.
A bigger definition of me.

This week's episode of The Midlife Muscle Manifesto is about that identity shift, and why sometimes trying harder keeps incredibly driven women stuck.

Smaller body.

Smaller appetite.

Smaller opinions.

Smaller dreams.

Be good.

Be agreeable.

Don’t be difficult.

Don’t eat too much.

Don’t weigh too much.

Don’t be too muscular.

Too ambitious.

Too sexual.

Too opinionated.

Too loud.

Too much.

Take care of everybody.

Keep the peace.

Look good doing it.

Anyone else f-cking exhausted?

Because I am.

I want women building:

Muscle.
Businesses.
Boundaries.
Bank accounts.
Adventures.
Sexual confidence.
Relationships.
Ridiculous dreams.

Lift heavy s**t.

Say NO.

Say YES.

Take the trip.

Wear the thing.

Get in the picture.

Start the business.

Change the career.

Take up some mother fu***ng SPACE.

I’m not here to coach women into smaller lives disguised as smaller bodies.

I want women with the physical capacity to live BIG lives.

Yes, body composition can matter.

Yes, fat loss can be a goal.

Yes, we can want the freaking jeans to fit.

But becoming smaller cannot become the size of our lives.

I’m looking for 100 women over 40 ready for THAT conversation.

Road to 100 Strong Women.

If something inside you just screamed F×CK YES...

“I thought the aches + pains were just part of getting older.”

— N, 53

THIS is why N’s message stopped me.

At 51 she described herself as:

Inconsistent.

Out of shape.

Chasing fitness fads.

And she’d started accepting certain things as:

Well...I guess this is just getting older.

Today she’s 53.

She runs + hikes with her son.

Climbs stairs without getting winded.

Wakes without the aches and pains she thought were inevitable.

Trains consistently in a very full life.

Feels great in clothes she’s always wanted to wear.

And describes herself as:

“Fitter, stronger and happier than I’ve ever been.”

At 53.

Not for 53.

AT 53.

Our bodies change with age.

Pretending otherwise isn’t empowerment.

But change does not automatically equal decline.

Train.

Build muscle.

Enhance cardiovascular capacity.

Fuel.

Recover.

And stop bouncing from fad to fad long enough to let your body ADAPT.

Then collect receipts.

N’s receipts?

Her sons.

The hikes and fitness events.

The travel.

The stairs.

Waking up feeling GOOD.

The clothes.

THAT is capacity.

Oh, and:

“Six-pack abs still loading...but we’re getting there. 😂💪”

Exactly.

We’re just getting started.

Road to 100 Strong Women.

Comment LIFTED if you want IN, and to experience your own results like N.

09/16/2026

“I just want my old body back.”

I understand that sentence.

But what if we’re using the wrong destination?

I don’t want to recreate my 35-year-old body.

I want to know what my 51-year-old body is capable of.

How strong can I become?
How much muscle can I build?
What adventures can this body carry me through?

And YES.

I can care about body composition.
Want my clothes to fit beautifully.
Want to feel freaking HOT.

But I’m done making smaller the destination.

AnnMarie is such a great example.

She came to me defining herself as a runner.
Her body changed in her 40s.

Instead of trying harder at the same thing, she got curious.

Today she’s building muscle, loving strength training, creating the most kick a@s home gym, having a blast in the process and: “Truly seeing what my body is capable of.”

Maybe you don’t need your old body back.
Maybe it’s time to meet the woman who’s next.

Strong is something you can BECOME.
Not something you used to be.

Comment LIFTED if you’re ready to build what’s next.
