We want to send a huge shoutout and best wishes to Hancock County’s own Alex Madden as he kicks off his sophomore year with the Asbury Eagles Men’s Basketball team!

Alex wearing #55 for the Eagles is proof of where hard work, dedication, and character can take you. He’s an alumnus that each of our guys look up to, setting a standard on and off the court for current and future Hornets to follow.

🏀 Open Gym Today! 🏀

Hancock County Boys Basketball is hosting a full Open Gym today for anyone interested in playing HS basketball! We'll be running strictly 5-on-5 games.

If you're looking to get some good run in and put in work on the court, come on out!

Huge thank you to the team at Rehabilitation & Performance Institute, PSC - Hancock County for coming out and spending time with our Hancock County basketball team!

Yesterday, they spent time putting our players through Functional Movement Screens (FMS) to evaluate basic movement quality, spot physical imbalances, and help minimize injury risks heading into the season.

They have offered to craft a customized team warm-up routine for us to use all season long, along with individualized routines for athletes who have specific areas to work on.

Ethan Hughes, Brittany Hughes, & Fabián Torres are absolutely fantastic to work with, and we truly appreciate their expertise, energy, and dedication to keeping our athletes healthy and performing at their best.

We are lucky to have such incredible community partners in our corner! Go Hornets! 🏀

Today, Hancock County Basketball pauses to remember and honor the lives lost 25 years ago, on September 11, 2001, along with the incredible courage of the first responders who answered the call.

We stand united in remembrance of those we lost, keeping their families and loved ones in our hearts and prayers. May their memory always inspire us to come together with strength, unity, and resilience.
