💚HELP SUPPORT THE GEHS SPARTANETTES!💛

The Spartanettes are dancing into an exciting year — and we would love for our community to be part of it!

This season, we have almost 20 dancers, making this the largest Spartanette Dance Team in program history! We are incredibly excited to see this program continue to grow and reach more students at Greenbrier East.

One of the things that means the most to us is keeping the Spartanette program accessible to every student who wants the opportunity to dance. For many of our dancers, participating in a private studio setting may not be financially possible. Through the Spartanettes, they have the opportunity to train, perform, build confidence, be part of a team, and experience the joy of dance alongside their classmates. 💚

As our team grows, so do the expenses that come with providing those opportunities. We are currently looking for businesses, family members, friends, alumni, and community supporters who would like to help support our 2026–2027 season!

🌟 BUSINESS SPONSORS — $100
Our business sponsors receive recognition throughout our season, including:
• Business logo displayed on our parade banner
• Business name on the back of our team shirts
• Social media recognition
• A Spartanettes Business Sponsor sign to display at your business

💚 FRIENDS & FAMILY SUPPORTERS—$25
You don’t have to own a business to support our dancers! Friends, family members, alumni, and anyone who simply loves supporting local students can also contribute to our team. Each family & friends sponsorship helps us continue creating opportunities for these dancers.

Funds raised help with the many expenses of our season, including costumes, dance shoes, team apparel, competition expenses, and other needs that allow our dancers to participate and perform.

When you support the Spartanettes, you’re helping us say YES to more students. Yes, you can dance. Yes, you can be part of this team. Yes, there is a place for you here. 💚

✨🏈 FIRST HOME GAME OF THE SEASON! 🏈✨

What a way to kick off our home football season! 💚💛

We are SO proud of our Greenbrier East Spartanettes and the energy, school spirit, and hard work they brought to the field and sidelines tonight! There’s just something special about those Friday Night Lights at Spartan Stadium, and we are so excited for everything this season has in store for this team! ✨

We also had to grab a few pictures with the Woodrow Wilson High School Dance Team! These girls and their coaches have been such wonderful supporters of our Spartanettes, and we are so thankful for the friendship and encouragement between our two teams. Dance is so much bigger than competition—it’s about supporting one another, building friendships, and cheering each other on! 🫶

Now… we may not have been quite as big of fans of the shirts they showed up wearing tonight… 😂😉 but we’ll forgive them this time! 💚💛

Thank you, Woodrow, for always showing our girls so much love! We loved getting to share the sidelines with you tonight!

🏈💚 IT’S GAME DAY, SPARTANS! 💛🏈

The GEHS Spartanette Dance Team is wishing our Spartan Football Team the BEST of luck tonight as they take on James Monroe! We’re cheering you on and can’t wait for another exciting season under the Friday night lights! 💚💛

And speaking of a new season… Spartanette practice officially begins MONDAY! 💃

📣 Practice begins Monday, August 31st, immediately after school and will run until 5:15 PM.

It’s also NOT too late to join the GEHS Spartanette Dance Team! If you’ve been thinking about dancing with us this year, there’s still time! Fill out the Google Form attached to this post, and one of our coaches will be in touch to make sure you have everything you need before our season begins.

💚🏈 SPARTANETTE SUMMER WORKOUTS START TOMORROW! 🏈💚

Tomorrow is the day! We are so excited to welcome both returning and future Spartanettes as we kick off the 2026-2027 season! ✨

Whether you’ve danced your whole life or you’re simply curious about what it’s like to be a Spartanette, we would LOVE for you to come! This is the perfect opportunity to test the waters, meet the coaches, learn some football sidelines, and experience what our team is all about.

🏈💚 Calling all future and returning Spartanettes! 💚🏈

Do you love to dance? Want to perform at football and basketball games, build friendships, and be part of an award-winning team?

Join us for our GEHS Spartanette Dance Team Summer Workouts on August 5th & 6th from 5:00–7:30 PM at the GEHS Gymnasium!

These workouts are open to all incoming 9th–12th grade GEHS students—no matter your experience level. Whether you’ve danced for years or have never stepped into a dance class before, we’d love to have you! Some of our strongest dancers started with little or no experience.

During the workouts you’ll:
✨ Meet the coaches
✨ Learn football sideline dances
✨ Learn a pre-game/halftime routine
✨ Work on pom technique
✨ Meet new teammates
✨ Have the opportunity to perform at the first home football game on September 4th!

🏆 The Spartanettes are an award-winning dance team, earning multiple Regional Champion and Grand Champion titles, and we’d love for YOU to be part of our next chapter!
