Huzzah!

Voyager Technologies announced in September that the GOEX plant in Camp Minden, La.—the sole black powder manufacturing facility located in the United States—has been modernized and is back in production.

It’s welcome news for muzzeloading enthusiasts and a relief for a U.S. military eager to source all critical materials domestically.

Last call — the Annual LSA Chicken BBQ is this Sunday. Noon-4pm!!🔥

Sunday, September 20, Noon to 4 PM. $20 a ticket gets you fresh wood-fired BBQ chicken, potato, salad, dessert, and a drink. We do takeout, so grab dinner and run if Sunday's tight.

Today is the last day to guarantee your plate. We'll have a very limited number of tickets at the door and once they're gone, they're gone — buying online is the only way to lock one in.

REMINDER FOR DEER HUNTERS: Surplus antlerless deer permits for limited zones go on sale this week!
🔸A limited number of permits for zones 1, 3, 4S, 5, 7, 8, 9, and 12 go on sale at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16. These are first-come, first-served and limited to 1 permit per zone per day.
🔸Permits for zones 10, 11, 13, and 14 are available now and have no daily or season purchase limit.
