I have one horse leaving for retirement and have a rare training board space opening up on 10/1 at my farm in Leicester, NC just seven miles from downtown Asheville!
This is a full training board space ideal for a boarder looking for a small, exclusive boarding operation that’s been proven and operating with healthy happy horses for over a decade. I am the owner/trainer/barn manager/person to call at any hour if it’s regarding the welfare of your animal. I take great pride in being a small operation with a great (no drama) barn family, where we provide 5 star care. With over 30 years of experience as an upper level Event rider as well as decades of experience in both the jumper and dressage arenas, I tailor a program for you and your horse to meet your goals whether that’s with showing or just improving a relaxed relationship.
WE OFFER
-individual or semi private SAFE turnout with safe fencing; these are not new pastures being improved and trialed as we go..my horses have been here and thriving for years and so will yours!
- an all weather Trutex footing arena with lights and access to jumps 
- round pen
- access to over 200 acres of hacking, cross country schooling and trails (operated by me, just a short 4 mile haul from our farm).
- no add-ons or à la cart style boarding; one price includes ALL CARE to include blanketing, supplement administration, training program, top of the line grain and hay that’s been evaluated by equine professionals
- an active showing schedule with no obligations
- heated wash stall
- a trainer/owner who can implement changes to suit your horse and your needs (I am also always training with the best so I can stay current and the most helpful I can be).
I am looking for a special addition to our barn family that values and understands the importance of professional horse care and training who is seeking a hands on program with proven results. If you’re looking for a barn with a huge lesson program, tons of people, low prices with low expectations this is definitely not your place.
