There are some goodbyes that are harder to write than others 💫

After nearly 10 years at our studio, today I have to say goodbye to someone who is so much more than an instructor to me. She has become my family and someone who will always hold a very special place at the dojang. Today marks the last day of having Ms. Hollie as our instructor.

I still remember teaching her when she was just beginning her Taekwondo journey. I could see something special in her...the potential, the determination and the person she had the ability to become.

Ms. Hollie's journey wasn't always easy. She faced some difficult challenges during her teenage years and throughout her Taekwondo journey. With the support of this community, the people around her and her own strength and perseverance, she learned to push through it all.

Watching her grow from that little girl I taught and grew with years ago into a confident and strong woman she is today has been one of the greatest privileges of my time at this studio.

I am beyond proud of everything you've achieved both on and off the mat. You've grown into a great teacher, role model and person. You've paid back your community that helped shape you and touched the lives of so many other students.

While I'm incredibly sad to see you leave, I'm excited to see where life takes you next. You'll always have a place here and you'll always be family.

Thank you for the last 10 years, for the memories, the laughs, the hard days and everything in between.

☀️ PRIME TAEKWONDO SUMMER PICNIC 2026! 🥋

What an awesome day with our Prime Taekwondo family!

A huge THANK YOU to all of our families who came out to our annual Summer Picnic and to everyone who donated food, drinks, supplies and helped make the day possible. Our families are truly what make Prime Taekwondo such a strong community and Taekwondo family, and we’re incredibly thankful for each and every one of you!

We hope everyone had an amazing time hanging out, eating some good food, playing games and of course… the WATER BALLOON FIGHT! 💦🎈😂

Speaking of which… everyone who hit Master Amaron with a water balloon owes him 100 push-ups next week. 😤😂

We also want to give a very special shoutout to the Morales Family for bringing out their own grill and taking on grill-master duties for the day! Thank you for cooking up all those delicious hamburgers and hot dogs for everyone. We appreciate you guys so much!

Thank you again to everyone who helped make this year’s picnic such a great one.

We train together. We grow together. We’re a Taekwondo family. ❤️🥋

Congratulations to our Class of 2026!

Mr. Dorion graduated from Lee's Summit North and plans to take an off year to focus on training and working! He is currently a High Green belt.

Mr. Mace graduated from Blue Springs South and is heading off to Mizzou on a full ride scholarship! He's currently a 1st Dan and close to his 2nd!

Both have been amazing students to us and we wish them the best with their future! 🖤
