Sporting Lee's Summit

This season we were able to place nearly 2500 children onto recreational teams, over 300 players on competitive teams, 230 adult league players with more than 200 active referees reffing for Sporting Lee’s Summit! What an awesome accomplishment! These teams are coached by over 400 parent volunteers & supported by over 30 board members. THANK YOU to everyone who has put your time, energy & talents into making such a huge impact! We couldn't do this without you!! Happy Fall 2026 Opening Weekend! It’s going to be a GREAT season! ⚽️🥅

The SLS Dominators finished a great campaign in the Heartland Fall Kick Off Challenge. They played through heat, humidity, and some intense matchups and were able to come home with some hardware! Great tournament, Dominators!

CONGRATS to the SLS Current 17/18 U9 Girls who are the Fall Kick Off Challenge Champions!! These girls battled through some tough games against strong competition in hot temperatures and won the Championship!

Sporting LS is excited to introduce Focused Training Sessions—a series of free specialty training opportunities exclusively for Sporting LS competitive players.

These sessions are designed to give players additional, focused instruction beyond regular team practices through smaller-group coaching, purposeful repetition, and position-specific development.

Training topics include:

Keeper • Defense • Midfield • First Touch • Striker • Skills

Most sessions are divided into U9–U12 and U13–U17 age groups. Players register for each individual session through PlayMetrics.

Space will initially be limited. A waitlist will be available, so coaches can be added to support additional players where possible.

This is another valuable benefit of being part of the Sporting LS competitive program—giving players more opportunities to build confidence, sharpen their skills, and reach their full potential.
