Tonight’s forecast resulted in the postponement of the outdoor concert we were planning to attend. As a result, Beau and Brio were disappointed that we weren’t going to get to meet up with our friends and their very sweet Golden Girl. Since we had already packed a picnic supper for them, it didn’t take us long to figure out what would bring smiles back to their faces… a trip to Scotti’s! Although we’re partial to the smash burgers and hand cut fries, the boys love the owners and staff along with the pup cups they serve them. Despite their happy whines and woofs, they had to wait patiently to eat their treats until we got to our table. They were more than happy to have their dessert first! Once it was gone, they enjoyed watching the birds and soaking up love from other patrons.
Many thanks to Scotti's for making yet another yummy dinner for us and bringing smiles to Beau and Brio. We couldn’t have asked for a better not so rainy night!

Update 4/11 - We learned of a new sighting late this afternoon. It actually occurred around 4 pm yesterday on North Stone Street, near Colton Street. A man was traveling through the area when he saw 2 young women trying to capture a muddy Golden. Just as they asked him if he had lost a dog, she retreated into the woods. At the time, he thought that she was from a nearby home. Upon seeing one of her flyers today, he realized it was likely Rizin’ and reached out right away. This kind and wonderful man has already contacted the people he knows in the area to ask them to keep an eye out for her. Since he is very familiar with and has many contacts in the area, he has also offered to help search for her tomorrow. All fingers are crossed that she will make another appearance tomorrow! 🙏❤️🙏

This sweet, but shy girl is still missing in West Suffield, CT. She belongs to a good friend of ours and is our Baxter and Beau’s niece. We have known her since she was a puppy. Please keep them in your thoughts and share her info. Sightings are what will help bring her to safety.
If you are in the area, please keep your eye out for her in your travels and call or text about sightings right away (location, time, and direction she is traveling). Her extended Golden Retriever family has been looking for her, aided by the watchful eyes of many wonderful community members.
Here are some of the areas of West Suffield in which she has been seen: North and South Stone Streets, Ratley Road, North and South Grand Streets, Spruce Street, Sheldon Street, and Rising Corner Road. She is partial to open fields, but will quickly travel into the woods when startled. She has also been seen walking along the edge of the road, particularly North Stone Street, not far from where she went missing.

This Pup was visiting some friends and got scared and bolted. She is not from this area, she is extremely skittish. We are requesting if seen please do not call out, chase or follow her. Please call the number on the flyer immediately and report time, location, and what direction she was going in to help get her safe.!

What happens to Brio at 6pm after he and his older brother, Beau, play outside in a foot of powder snow at 4pm in sub-freezing weather for almost an hour.
Brio loves sleeping in “His” chair.
Beau is doing the same on “His” couch.

Brio snoozes peacefully at my feet in the family room while visions of dock diving swim through his head. 💕
Little did he know that registration opened last evening for the Bark At Noah’s Ark (BANA #9) dock diving event at the Indian Creek K9 facility in Goldston, NC, Apr 30-May 3.
This will be his second event there. He earned his invite to the DockDogs 2025 World Championship there last year. Sleep tight little guy. You are registered for 8 waves over the 4 day competition. Beau is also registered to compete.

After we finished the NADD National Dock Diving Championship in southern Missouri and on our way to the DockDogs World Dock Diving Championship in eastern Iowa, we took a few hours to stop at the Bass Pro Shops flagship store and world headquarters in Springfield, MO. A few hour visit could in no way do it justice. A week would have only started to do it justice.
This store was huge! It has over 500,000 sq feet of retail space, not including the 350,000 sq foot Wonders Of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium! To put this retail space into perspective for those who have visited the Yankee Candle Village in Deefield, MA, that is only 90,000 sq feet of retail space!
