Congratulations to our 8U Softball Njezic team for winning the Little League 8U State Championship this morning in Maryville. They defeated the host team Maryville in 5 innings by a score of 11-5!!

That makes 3 State titles across our LYBSA organization. 2 in 🥎 and 1 in ⚾️ with our 12U 🥎 headed this week to the LL Southeast Regional in Warner Robins, GA.

LYBSA 8U Softball Njezic wins first 2 games today in State Tournament being played in Maryville.
Game 1 defeated Jonesborough 10-0
Game 2 defeated Clarksville National 14-0

Will play Maryville for the State Championship Sunday at 10 AM central time.

They will be headed to Warner Robins, GA on July 15 with play July 17-22.

We will be raising money to help the team with travel expenses. LYBSA 12U Lester All Stars open State Tournament play in Clarksville by beating
Spring Hill 16-2 and
Maryville 20-0
They advance to the championship game tomorrow at 10 AM vs Unicoi

LYBSA 10U Earps All Stars did not fare as well in Maryville. They lost the first game Friday vs Mooresburg Bean Station 6-1.
Today the team lost 10-3 to Spring Hill. This eliminated the team from the tournament. Congratulations to the players, coaches and parents on a great season.

Lebanon Youth Baseball Softball Association Majors/12U Softball All Stars won the District 2 Championship. In a best 2 out of 3 series, Game 1 Lebanon lost 5-10, Game 2 won 10-3 and in Game 3 won in a comeback 5-3. Lebanon advanced to the Little League State Tournament July 3-5 in Clarksville
Team members include Kolbi Buhler, Nessie Christenbury, Taylor Fisher, Kay Fitzpatrick, Promise Manier, Gracie Patton, Blakely Potter, Mackenna Shoop, Henley Simmons, Addie Theiring, Hillary Trice, and Aubrie Wright.
