Appendix carry while driving.

We’ve seen quite a few posts out there telling people to put the lap belt behind the gun. Do Not Do This…

When the lap belt is positioned behind the firearm it places the belt across the abdomen. This creates a massive risk of internal organ damage in a collision due to improper belt placement.

Instead, place the belt in its normal position, across the hip. In a front end vehicle collision the momentum of your body will move up and forward. Having the belt across the hip captures the body on a strong body part, minimizing risk of severe injury.
Place the belt where it belongs. Across the hip and chest as designed.

In addition to all this you have full access to your firearm in a more safe and effective manner. Drop your shirt over the firearm for concealment or tuck the shirt behind.
