Hello Parents,

Above the Bar Gymnastics Academy is excited to announce that USA Athletics is under new management! Above the Bar will operate as Above the Bar Athletics (ATB Athletics) at 1318-C Hwy 3 S., League City. ATB Athletics will continue to offer excellent competitive programs and classes in addition to our current gymnastics programs at Above the Bar Gymnastics Academy located at 431 Columbia Memorial Pkwy.

Coach Calvin Parker and the former USA Athletics coaching team will continue to coach competitive T&T and Cheerleading team programs, as well as recreational trampoline, tumbling, and cheer prep classes. With this new 21,000+ square feet facility, we’ll finally have the space to add Above the Bar Ninja classes! We’ll also continue to offer after-school skills program, birthday parties, open gyms, Friday Night Fun, dry-dive training, and host gymnastics and T&T competitions!

ATB Athletics is open and enrolling students beginning TODAY, September 18, 2017! Students who wish to continue their previously enrolled classes or team will complete new enrollment with Above the Bar. We have attempted to maintain class and team training schedules as much as possible. Our preliminary class schedule for ATB Athletics is on our website at www.AboveTheBarGym.com. In the coming months, we’ll be adding more classes, including Above the Bar Ninjas and gymnastics, and making schedule adjustments to better serve our families and community. Above the Bar Gymnastics Academy is owned and operated by Yvonne Pabon, Kayvin Palacio, Scott Flechsig, and Ellen Snook. Since 2013, League City has been home to Above the Bar with our original gym located at 1001 S. Egret Bay Blvd. After 3 years of rapid growth, Above the Bar moved to the former Acrofit Gymnastics location at 431 Columbia Memorial Pkwy. We look forward to meeting you and are excited to be operating Above the Bar Athletics and new programs at the Hwy 3 location!

Dear USA Athletics Members,

We are so pleased to be able to announce the exciting news that our gym is re-opening under new management! Our good friends from Above the Bar, an already established and well respected gym in League City, has agreed to come in and partner with us to establish our current facility as a second location.

All of our programs and staff will remain the same doing business as All-Star Cheer, Trampoline & Tumbling, and recreational classes. They will also be adding some other exciting programs in the near future, such as women's gymnastics and Ninja Warrior.

We are extremely sorry for all the chaos, disruption, and uncertainty that has taken place this past week. Believe us, we were completely blindsided by everything that occurred just like you were. We know that your trust in us has been shaken through all this confusion, but we hope that you will want to continue on this incredible journey with us. For those of you who have stuck with us, we are extremely honored by your loyalty. For those of you who felt you needed to move on, we want you to know that we completely understand.

Our staff is very grateful to Above the Bar for believing in us and our vision. It was a perfect solution to a difficult problem because their vision is the same as ours. It is going to feel so good to be "home!"

Classes will resume as normal starting Monday, September 18, and the monthly tuition will be prorated.

Stopped by Buffalo Wild wings today, they are sooo excited that to have us on Monday Sept 11. Be sure to show your ticket so that we can raise more $ for GYMStar Kids Foundation. Now more than ever we have kiddos in our area that need help to participate in the activities they love!

Eat Wings, Raise Funds! We are having another fundraiser day at Buffalo Wild wings! Now more than ever there are children in our area that are missing out on being a part of their community through sports and other cultural activities. Please help us raise money to provide program scholarships to kiddos that need it most!
We look forward to seeing you there!

The gym will be closed for all practices and classes until further notice. This is a heartbreaking time for so many in our communities. Please stay safe, help others in need, and pray for all.
