Just because tonight's USAC races at Lernerville canceled doesn't mean our camping weekend had to be cut short. Roy, Rolo, and I made a pit stop on the way home.

We celebrated Briggs's birthday after the races last night. Even though we were missing a few of our team members and we never did sing happy birthday, it was still a most enjoyable evening (morning?). It's been a bit since we've gathered around a fire to share lots of laughs and to chat about racing, life, and everything between.

Felt good to pause, take the time. Laugh. Enjoy. Relax. "Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That's why they call it the present."

Happy Birthday to Briggs Danner, who celebrates his 25th birthday today!

Born September 11, 2001, the Allentown, Pennsylvania racer has rapidly built one of the most impressive young resumes in American open-wheel racing.

A third-generation racer, Danner began behind the wheel at just five years old and went on to become a three-time USAC .25 Midget champion before moving through Micro Sprints, SpeedSTRs, Modifieds, TQ Midgets and Sprint Cars.

His recent rise has been especially impressive. Danner captured back-to-back USAC East Coast Sprint Car championships in 2022 and 2023, then established himself as a national contender with four USAC National Sprint Car victories in 2025 and a sixth-place finish in the championship standings.

And 2026 has brought another major chapter. Danner is competing for the USAC Silver Crown championship with Doran-Swanson Racing, and in July he delivered a dominant performance at Wi******er Speedway — earning the pole, leading all 100 laps and scoring his first USAC Silver Crown pavement victory in just his third pavement start.

From the East Coast to the national USAC stage, Briggs Danner continues to prove that he belongs among the sport's rising stars.

The USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car season resumes on Friday, September 18 at Circle City Raceway and Saturday, September 19 at Tri-State Speedway-.
