PA Elite Fastpitch

PA Elite Fastpitch Travel fastpitch softball Elite players have participated in tournaments in several states and World Series events held in Salisbury, MD.

Elite Fastpitch Softball, based out of southern Chester County, Pennsylvania is a registered USSSA team that has been providing opportunities for competitive fastpitch softball since 2008. The young ladies on the Elite 16U team represent school districts in Chester, Berks and Lancaster Counties which currently include Twin Valley, Avon Grove, Oxford, Bishop Shanahan, and Solanco. Besides participating in travel softball, they are also very active in other sports programs, various musical and extracurricular activities, student leadership, and volunteer organizations. Their dedication to the sport of fastpitch softball is evident in their skill and abilities while playing in tournaments and practicing year round. The intense practice schedule and competition in the tournaments also enhances their ability to be highly competitive while representing their individual school districts in regular PIAA league play.

After a long and tough season Team Elite finished off the year in the Midway Tournament in Wilmington, DE. After a good seeding from Saturday, Sunday started off with a win over Emmorton Thunder. After that the ladies battled the heat and a determined team but came up short with a 5-4 loss in the semi final game. Overall not too shabby, with a lot to be proud of. Some great plays by the ladies made for a very exciting game to watch and kept most folks on their feet from both teams. I want to thank all the supporters from this year, all the parents, family, and friends. Most of all I want to thank all the ladies that make up the Elite team for a job well done. You made us proud and it was a privilege to be there with you. More pictures to follow so stay tuned!

Team Elite shut out the Lady Blue Rocks for a 5-0 win in the first game to get the day started. After a game break the Elite ladies battled through a tough game against HYCP Liberty to end in a tie. Waiting for the last of today's results to see what is on tap for tomorrow. Let's turn up the heat and make it a long day tomorrow!

The ladies played well in the tournament held in Laurel, MD this past weekend going 2 - 1 with two great wins and an exciting last game. The last game came down to an intense duel and two additional innings of International tie breaker play that resulted in a 8-7 loss for Team Elite. The ladies played well and left it all on the field, but did not get the critical win they so well deserved. Congrats ladies on a job well done, stay tough.

Team Elite scheduled for 16b tournament in Fayetteville, PA on 12 July and 18c tournament in Elkridge, MD on July 19. Later tournament TBD.

On June 21 and 22, Team Elite competed in the 16u Class B Fireworks Classic in Reading, PA. The ladies pulled out a great win on Saturday against a top rated team and lost two tough games. Sunday didn't work out like we planned and we got sent home early. Some great pitching and defense were the highlights along with great teamwork.The bats seem to get started late and we ran out of time when we were in our rallies. Now some much needed two weeks off to practice and prepare for the next tournaments on July 12, 19, and 26*. Stand by for some more pictures. Thanks for all the support and LIKES for the page.
