7 years is a long time to carry something that didn’t need to be carried.

But Declan isn’t unusual.

Most of the grapplers who come through this team have been living with the same issues for years because nobody fixed the right thing.

The self-diagnosing.

The physio visits.

The weeks of rest followed by the return, followed by the re-injury.

At 34, Declan feels “better than I did at 24”.

Those are his words.

The limits he believed about what his body could do has gone.

So has the injury he’d spent years accepting.

Both were always fixable - with the right approach.

Again, it’s not about the niggles

It’s about what we can do to your performance once we’ve got rid of them

And you can finally become the guy that people dread rolling with because of how capable you are

The injuries that keep coming back aren’t inevitable.

The game that keeps shrinking isn’t permanent.

The version of jiu-jitsu you’re doing right now, scaled back, played safe, planned around what your body can handle, isn’t the ceiling.

The guys on this team are proof of that. Every single one of them.

If you’ve been watching and recognising yourself…

In the injuries, in the frustration, in the gap between the grappler you are and the one you know you could be…

This is the moment.

DM me the word STRONG.

Let’s find out what’s actually going on and what fixing it looks like for you specifically

Being told your injuries are just your age is one of the most demoralising things a physio can say.

There’s nothing you can do about your age.

It’s permanent.

An injury is fixable.

NOT permanent.

Unless you ignore it, or do stupid banded physio s**t that doesn’t work.

For a lot of grapplers, speaking to a physio is the moment they start accepting less.

Liam’s injuries weren’t down to his age.

They were down to a structural weakness nobody had properly addressed.

Three months of the right work and all three of them were gone.

…think about that…

3 months later, Liam was OLDER. So it can’t be his age, can it?

He wasn’t an anomaly.

He joined the team. We found the root cause of the issue… and fixed it.

Simple

The language people use about their bodies tells you everything about how much it’s costing them.

“I just play guard now.”
“I choose my training partners carefully.”
“I’m always bracing for what’s going to go next.”

That’s not just a physical description. That’s someone who’s started thinking of limitation as a permanent condition.

The same people, months later, don’t speak like that anymore.

Because they don’t think like that anymore.

If you recognise yourself in the before, DM me the word Strong.

The “after” is closer than you think

The ceiling isn’t always physical.

Sometimes it’s the story you’ve been telling yourself, built from enough real evidence to feel completely true.

The age. The health thing. The injuries. The business. The kids. The sleep.

Each one by itself is manageable.

But together, they become a case for expecting less.

For training within tighter and tighter limits.

For slowly accepting a version of jiu-jitsu that’s a fraction of what it used to be.

Gary knew the story he’d built.

He also knew somewhere underneath it that he’d built it himself.

It’s not JUST physical.

Dealing with injuries has a mental price too.

The injuries and niggles are the obstacle. They aren’t the goal.

The goal is the training you’re not getting.

The competitions you’re not entering.

The version of yourself on the mat that keeps getting postponed because something keeps breaking.

Every person who’s come through this team had a physical problem.

What they were actually dealing with was the gap…

Between the grappler they are and the one they know they could be.

That gap closes faster than people expect.

And once it does, the ceiling shifts in ways they genuinely didn’t see coming.

Not every story ends with a podium finish.

Some of them end with something a bit quieter but just as powerful.

Show up, roll with people half your age, and hold your own.

To try the move without the mental calculation of whether your body will make you pay for it tomorrow.

To not think of yourself as old.

Iain didn’t come in chasing competition glory. He came in wanting to lose some weight and move a bit better.

What he got was a version of jiu-jitsu and a version of himself he hadn’t expected.

At 56, he has no end date. No sense that the clock is running out. No part of his game that’s been sacrificed to stay safe.

That’s what this is for. Not just the medals.

The longevity. The freedom and the ability to keep going

09/01/2026

The numbers are real. The people are real. The timeline is real.

None of them had a simple situation.

All of them had injuries, schedules, families, and businesses pulling them in every direction.

What they had in common was a decision to stop managing the problem and start fixing it.

The results followed.

They always do when the root cause is actually addressed

Look, there’s never a perfect time.

The schedule’s always full. Something’s always competing for calendar space.

And meanwhile, the injuries tick along. The sessions get scaled back. The competitions get skipped. The game keeps shrinking.

The guys on the team didn’t wait for a perfect window.

They decided the cost of staying the same was higher than the cost of changing it.

Most of them say the ROI was obvious within the first month.

If you’ve been sitting on this, thinking about it but waiting for the right moment…

The right moment is now

Grapplers who get injured aren’t usually unfit.

They’re not underprepared in any conventional sense.

They’ve just been building strength in the wrong ranges, with the wrong structures as the target.

And the sport is the test.

The gym is supposed to prepare you for it, but for most people, there’s a fundamental mismatch between the two.

End-range strength training closes that gap.

Not partially. Completely.

The positions that used to break you become positions you fu***ng own.

That’s the difference between training hard and training specifically
