FOUR TEAMS EARN TITLES IN 2026 SOUTHERN REGION TOUR PAIUTE FOUR-BALL TOURNAMENT

The teams of Zac Frazier-Marc Engellenner (Championship), Ed Fryatt-Todd Roberts (Senior), John Steele-David Foggia (Silver) and Paul Sansone-Jack Kalmanson (Net) won titles in the 2026 Southern Region Tour Four-Ball tournament. The one-day event was held July 15, 2026, at the Sun Mountain Course at the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort.

GOLFERS WITH COLLEGE TIES EARN 2026 U.S. SENIOR AM SPOTS

Michael Ketcham earned medalist honors and Brad Sutterfield earned the second qualifying spot in the 2026 U.S. Senior Amateur Qualifier, surviving a three-man playoff. The one-day qualifier was held July 13, 2026, at Red Rock Country Club’s Mountain Course. The 2026 U.S. Senior Amateur will be held Aug. 29-Sept. 3, 2026, at Baltimore Country Club’s East Course.

EMOTIONS of GOLF and OVERCOMING THEM

2026 Nevada State Amateur Runner Up RJ Arone showed class in hanging around to be interviewed following a devastating loss in a playoff at TPC Summerlin last week.

He will use this as fuel during his junior season at Univ. of Michigan.

NEVADA WOMEN GOLFERS EARN 2026 SENIOR STATE TITLES

Regina Quintero (Gross) and Pam Trombatore (Net) won titles in the 2026 Nevada State Women’s Senior Amateur organized by Nevada Golf. The two-day tournament was held July 9-10, 2026, at the Lakes Course at Red Hawk Golf & Resort.

DRAMATIC 18TH-HOLE BIRDIES DECIDE 2026 NEVADA STATE AMATEUR

Phillip Reedy won the 2026 Nevada State Amateur title. Reedy won the crown in a playoff, beating Ralph ‘RJ’ Arone on the first playoff hole. The three-day tournament was held July 6-8, 2026, at TPC Summerlin.

DREAMS COMING TRUE!

Four golfers earned state tiles at Resort at Red Hawk in 2026.

Boden Goicoechea (Boys 15-18), Quincy Leland (Girls 15-18), Harrison Tran (Boys 13-14) and Makenzie Snow (Girls 13-14) earned titles in the 2026 Nevada State Junior Amateur. The tournament was held July 6-8, 2026, at the Lakes Course at Red Hawk Golf & Resort

NEVADA STATE AM CHAMP to play U.S. AMATEUR at MERION!

The Phil Reedy won the 2026 Nevada State Amateur in a playoff over RJ Arone, and along with it an exemption into the prestigious U.S. Amateur at historic Merion Aug. 11-16.

Reedy birdied the first playoff hole to clinch the W, after Arone had chipped in for birdie on the final hole of regulation to tie.

Arone earns an exemption to the second stage and final qualifying for the 2027 U.S. Amateur.

Emily Byrne (Gross) and Joni Taylor (Net) won titles in the 2026 Northern Nevada Women’s Mid-Amateur.

The tournament was also the qualifier for the 2026 Silver Cup team for the North. The two-day tournament was held June 25-26, 2026, at Toiyabe Golf Club

FLYNN WINS WOMEN’S STATE AM 2026

In prep for her pro career, Ryan Flynn went out on top.

Ryan Flynn jumped out early and cruised to the gross title in the 2026 Women’s State Amateur organized by Nevada Golf. The three-day tournament was held June 29-July 1, 2026, at the Hills Course at the Red Hawk Golf and Resort.
