Desert Dog Diving

Larry of 3RD REEF came out last Sunday along with 4 students ready to train for their Deep Dive Certification Course. Larry explains what to expect on each of the dives and skills they will perform. He does not disappoint on his giant stride flawless ex*****on.  He also provides a surface briefing what to expect below, before making their descent.  . . . . . 

This is Jeffery who came out with Martin and Christina of SIMPLYSCUBA to participate in a OpenWater class. Of course Martin is in first then the students followed by Christina you’ll see Christina’s arms showing guidance for the student. Even though this was a class I think they enjoyed their class. Martin and Christina make a great dive training team. 

This is Mike who came out in June of 2026 with Instructors Martin and Christina of SIMPLYSCUBA to train in an Open Water Scuba Certification course. Where he trains along side Jeffery. Doing one of your days on a boat gives you a well rounded idea of shore and boat water entry’s and exits. It is encourage you take a Boat Diving Specialty Course more is covered on proper boat etiquette as well as different types of water entry, exits, most of all safety. . .   

In June 2026, Melissa and Glen Marks, a husband-and-wife dive team, emerged to complete several dives. They both demonstrated excellent technique in executing giant stride water entries, showcasing proficient fin use while pushing off. Notably, Melissa's water entry was executed without her dive gear, exemplifying an alternative approach by putting scuba gear on in the water. The BCD is first inflated before being lowered into the water. Melissa grabs the BCD and slips it on. If you have a good dive partner, they will be close by for assistance if needed. Thanks to Martin and Christina of SimplyScuba for bringing out a fun group and a great way to spend a Saturday. . . .

In June 2026, Julia came out with Martin and Christina of Simply Scuba, as it had been a minute since her last dive and she wanted to get dialed in with skills. Notice how she pushes off with her left foot. You can see her fin drops down in both water entries. She clears the boat. Then one little kick of that left foot and she is back up to the surface. Great ex*****on! Like riding a bike.   .

In June 2026, Mishiella was also participating in the deep dive course with Martin of Simply Scuba, aboard the PUDDLEJUMPER as part of the dive team. . . . . . .
