Sistrunk was founded by Raiders owner Al Davis at a LA Rams practice tryout and Al decided to sign him in 1972. Sistrunk worked as a butcher and played semi-pro football and he did not go to college or play college football. With his bald “ET” head and the fact that he didn’t have a college education, he was joked that he came from the University of “Mars.” Sistrunk was a fan favorite who played all 7 seasons of his career in the Silver X Black including winning Super Bowl XI in 1976! 🏴‍☠️

Hudson was in the peak of his career in the Silver X Black for 6 seasons and was one of the best centers in the NFL. He would go on to become a 3x Pro Bowler and a 2nd-team All Pro in 2019. He was a captain and led a dominant OL in the Silver X Black! 🏴‍☠️

The Raiders selected Kinlaw in the 12th round of the 1979 NFL Draft out of Oklahoma. The anchor of the Raiders 3-4 defense, Kinlaw played in 98 games with 57 starts of a total of 6 seasons and was an unsung hero of the Raiders 1980 and 1983 Super Bowl-winning squads! 🏴‍☠️

🚨 Fake News: There has been NFL rumors that the Raiders have interest in former Lions CB Terrion Arnold once he got released. However, those rumors are fake.

Arnold’s agent listed the teams that are interested in Arnold, which include Colts, Jets, Seahawks and Texans. The Houston Texans have even worked him out and had him take a physical.

Arnold was released by the Lions because he faces multiple felony charges including kidnapping and armed robbery in Florida. He has a $1M bond set in the kidnapping and assault case 🏴‍☠️

Arguably one of the greatest Raiders ever, and one of the best players in NFL history, “Highway 63” Gene Upshaw was a dominant force on the left side of the Offensive line for the Raiders for all 15 seasons of his career. His track record speaks for itself. He’s a 2x Super Bowl Champion, 7x Pro Bowler and 5x 1st-team All-Pro. He was the leader of the Raiders for many years.

Even after his career, he was a prominent advocate for NFL players as the Executive Director of the NFL Players Association (NFLPA). He held this position for 25 years and was instrumental in negotiating player contracts and benefits, significantly improving player welfare and financial standing within the league. Salute to the GOAT! 🫡🐐🏴‍☠️
