🏆 2026 The Run For A Million Cow Horse Challenge Champion! 🐴🔥
Erin Taormino and Hazardouz Material dominated the Reined Cow Horse competition at The Run For A Million in Las Vegas, delivering an unforgettable performance at the South Point Arena & Equestrian Center.
The pair earned a 226 in the cow work and 222 in the rein work for a combined 448, capturing the $200,000 Cow Horse Challenge and a $55,000 winner’s check, plus awards presented by Wolverine Boots and Apparel. 🏆💰
Hazardouz Material, affectionately known as “Skeeter,” is a 2019 stallion by Metallic Cat and out of Scooters Daisy Dukes. He is owned by Linda Mars and was bred by Taylor Carbo.
After years of competing at the event, Taormino finally claimed the victory she had been chasing—and she made it clear that the win was about more than herself.

That bond was on full display in the final run. Taormino admitted she was nervous, but once the cow entered the arena, she trusted Skeeter to do what he does best.
«“As soon as they let the cow out, I let him do his job.”»
And he delivered. 🔥🐎
Taormino’s words captured the partnership perfectly: her goal was to keep Skeeter happy, stay out of his way, and give him the opportunity to shine on one of reining and cow horse’s biggest stages.
