🚨 NEW WRESTLING PROGRAM AT TRIBE VEGAS 🚨

We’re bringing dedicated wrestling classes to Tribe Vegas every Friday with Coach Jason Sargus.

Jason brings a ton of experience to the room: a 96–22 high school record, 2x WPIAL finalist, West Virginia University walk-on, and eight years coaching at Morgantown High School—helping develop 11 WV state place winners, 3 state finalists, and a state champion. He’s also a NAGA and Grappler’s Quest Champion with extensive experience coaching MMA, boxing, strength & conditioning, and weight cutting.

Technique is important. But being able to make it work against someone who’s actively trying to stop you is where the real learning happens. 🧠🥋

At Tribe Vegas, we spend 2–4 weeks focused on a specific position, giving our students time to learn the concepts, experiment with different solutions, and then pressure-test them through positional sparring.

Here we’re working from Headquarters with a simple first-point drill. Same position. Different partners. Different reactions. Lots of reps.

The goal isn’t just to memorize a few passes—it’s to actually understand the position.

By the end of the series, we want our students to feel like they’ve been here a hundred times before.

We’re excited to launch the Tribe Vegas Homeschool Program — two days each week dedicated to helping kids become stronger, more confident, coordinated, and capable.

🥋 Tuesdays at 10 AM — Martial Arts
Self-defense • Focus • Discipline • Confidence

🏃 Thursdays at 10 AM — Sports Fitness
Speed • Agility • Strength • Teamwork • Coordination

Leading the program is Coach Daniel Cuison, who brings a unique combination of education, coaching experience, and combat sports knowledge:

⚾ Youth baseball coach
⚾ Certified in Baseball Flows by Ismael Gallo
🥊 Former MMA competitor

This isn’t just about burning off some energy. We want kids learning how to move their bodies well, developing athletic skills that transfer to virtually any sport, and building practical self-defense skills and confidence along the way.

After drilling the fundamentals, our adult Muay Thai students put their skills to the test with live clinch work under the guidance of Coach Rob. This is where timing, balance, posture, and composure all come together.

🟦 Square Trap: Wrestling That Actually Transfers to Live Sparring

One of the best ways to build wrestling isn’t by memorizing techniques—it’s by playing the right games.

Square Trap starts with both partners in a collar tie. Your goal is simple:
✅ Drive your partner out of the square
✅ Or secure a rear body lock

This game develops balance, pressure, footwork, hand fighting, posture, and timing in a live, competitive environment where every rep matters.

It’s fun, it’s exhausting, and students improve without feeling like they’re drilling.
