This is Adam and Jessica and their 4 kiddos. They are active members of our league - their children play and they are on the board. Recently, Jess experienced a mini-stroke - she is 30. You can read more about the details, but anyone who reads this is likely to immediately get it - young family, one out of work, long medical road ahead, and 4 little ones. As much as the need for rest and recovery is there, life does not stop. Bills don’t stop. Meals don’t stop. Laundry doesn’t stop. Medical visits don’t stop. Stress does not stop. But you know what? Even through some of the worst trials, there can be silver linings. Opportunities to show love and support and come together to help each other. We weren’t meant to do this life alone or in isolation. “Community” is so important and such a beautiful thing ❤️ That being said, if you feel that you’d like to help, there are two ways. One is their Go Fund Me - to help with bills, deductibles, co-pays, travel, household expenses, therapy, etc. The link is in the first comment. That is where you will also find more details about their current situation. The second is donating money toward meals - one person is cooking and preparing snacks, etc in order to limit the amount of people in and out of their home. If you would like to contribute to that fund, message through IG or FB for details. Even if you can’t help financially, please keep this family in your thoughts as the road ahead will be long. Having a community that stands beside them in all the ways will help them through❤️
