Race recap 9/13:

Peyton and Brad made it to the track for Harvest at Corrigan Oil Speedway.

During qualifying Peyton set a fast lap at 17.0 in the first session and Brad set a fast lap at 16.2. During the second session Peyton developed a motor issue and had to pull off and Brad ran just about an identical time.

The crew worked hard trying to fix Peyton’s car so he could race, but unfortunately was not able to get the car going.

Brad started deep in the 22 car field for the first of two features. Brad battled his way from the back up to 4th then a late race caution came out. After the choose option Brad restarted 2nd. After battling for the lead car got a little loose and allowed a couple cars pass. Brad battled back to finish 5th in the feature

For the second feature Brad started deep in the field again. This time he became a ping pong ball with the other cars at the beginning of the race with everyone trying to win the race on the first lap… On lap 9 Brad got caught up in a wrong place wrong time situation ending his night with significant damage.

Ever wanted to help out a race team? Here’s your chance!! The end of the year show at Springport Mid-Michigan Speedway is October 2nd through the 4th!! There is a lot that goes into this show, so there is a lot needed to make it successful!! Both Peyton and Brad will be racing that weekend!! Jaxson’s car unfortunately has a repair that has needed his season early!! Below is the help that is needed if you could help in anyway possible:

Peyton:

Oil change (5 quarts of Royal Purple 10W30) & oil filter
$100 entry fee (3 day pit fee + registration)
$40 fuel for race car

Brad:

Oil change (5 quarts of Royal Purple 10W30) & oil filter

Race recap Friday August 28th at Corrigan Oil Speedway:

Due to mechanical issues with the 11 of Jaxson and the 99 of Peyton only the 6 of Brad was able to make the trip, and oh boy what a night it was!! Now for the good parts!! Yup that’s right PARTS!!

For qualifying Brad SMASHED his personal best lap at Corrigan in his now 13th year of racing with a fast lap of 15.992!! That put him the fastest car in the B feature!!

First up was feature race #1!! Brad started shotgun on the field knowing he only had 15 laps to get to the front.. To the front is what he did!! On lap 5 of 15 Brad found himself out front and never looked back locking up the win for feature 1!!

Next up was feature #2!! Again Brad started shotgun on the field with 20 laps being the distance of this race! Brad made it up to as high as 2nd early in the race, but settled down into 3rd for the entire rest of the race battling hard trying to get back up to 2nd!!

By far the best night of racing for Brad in 2026!!

Race Recap from Owosso Speedway:

What a night is all I can say!! Made the adventure to the 3/8 of Owosso Speedway to see what the car had in preparation for Michigan Cup.

Both qualifying sessions gave me a fast lap of 19.3 (fastest ever I have ran at Owosso) which landed me 20th fast out of 39 cars and locked into the “A” main.

During the heat race I started P4. Battled with 3rd place for multiple laps before passing for 3rd, and with 2 laps left was passed and finished 4th for my heat.

During the feature due to the invert and the way they do lineups for the “A” feature put me starting dead last. Ran 21 of 25 laps before the fuel pressure regulator got hot and made the car start to run rough, so I pulled off due to being way under race speeds.

HUGE thank you to the support I had at the track in the stands!! It was great coming around the track and seeing a banner that was handmade with your number on it and people cheering for me!!

I want to also thank all my sponsors for all the support!! Your help is what helps me continue my passion for racing!!

Next up for me is Friday August 21st at Corrigan Oil Speedway!!

No racing tonight for the team, but make sure your backside is trackside tomorrow night at Owosso Speedway to watch the team try to conquer the 3/8!! All 3 drivers will be there!!

Off week on the track, but definitely not an off week preparing for the next race weekend!! Next race is Saturday August 15th at Owosso Speedway!! They are also doing a kids bike giveaway to some luck fans in the stands!! Bring your kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, neighbors, or whoever you want!!! Just make sure your backside is trackside!!!

Race Day recap:

This past Friday night Caught You Looking Racing showed up with all 3 cars!! All 3 cars passed tech and was waiting for time to go!!

During qualifying Peyton laid down his fastest qualifying lap ever at Corrigan Oil Speedway with a 16.990 fast lap, Brad qualified with a 16.401 fast lap, and Jaxson had a wiring fire during qualifying ending his night early!

Peyton and Brad both landed in the B feature races..

For feature race #1 Peyton started P1 with Brad lining up directly behind Peyton in the P3 position… At the drop of the green the entire field ran side by side for the first 4 laps. Peyton spent the first 9 laps ahead of Brad before getting slid up the track allowing Brad to get underneath of Peyton. From there on out both Brad and Peyton followed each other to finish 6th and 7th respectively.

For feature race #2 Peyton started P2 with Brad once again starting P3… At the drop of the green Brad found himself in 2nd on the first lap before dropping back to the 8th position. Peyton ran 8 of 20 laps before pulling off after seeing his temp getting a little too hot for his liking. Brad finished all 20 laps in the 7th position.

Not the night the team was looking for after being off for a month due to scheduling and the weather.

Next up for the team is the big 3/8s track of Owosso Speedway on Saturday August 15th!!! That’s also Kids Bike Give-a-way night!! Look for all 3 drivers to rebound and give a good showing on the big track!!

Race recap from Sunday May 31st!!

Peyton and Brad went out for qualifying and ran some very smooth laps!! Peyton set a fast lap of 17.008 and Brad set a fast lap of 16.326 landing both in the B feature.

Peyton started on the outside pole while Brad was 4th row inside at the start. Peyton quickly grabbed the lead at the drop of the green flag leading the first lap before settling into second place. Brad battled quickly through the field into 3rd place, and on lap 3 going into turn 1 getting ready to battle for 2nd with Peyton was drove into by the 4th place car causing enough damage to Brads car that he had to pull into the infield to finish watching the race. Peyton continued to battle hard running the best race he has ever ran at Corrigan Oil Speedway!! When all said and done Peyton finished 11th and Brad was a DNF 15th place.

Caught You Looking Racing is off the 12th in preparation for Jaxson’s graduation party on the 14th. All 3 drivers will be back in action on the 21st of June at Corrigan Oil Speedway for Slugfest Series race #2!!
