Meet Dylan!

Dylan has been part of the Plantation Palms team for about 10 months. Growing up playing sports, he decided to try something new and pick up golf, a sport his dad also played growing up.

Outside of work, Dylan stays busy playing basketball, customizing sneakers and cars, and studying film in school. His goal is to eventually work on the live production side of the industry, with interests ranging from television to sports and beyond.

Right now, he’s keeping his options open and seeing where his experience and creativity take him!

We’re bringing a little Wild West fun to Plantation Palms Golf Club!

Join us on September 25th from 7-10pm for Frontier Casino Night and spend the evening trying your hand at Poker, Blackjack, Craps, Roulette & more!

Your ticket includes passed hors d’oeuvres, one drink ticket and casino chips to get you started for the night.

$60 for Passholders & American Legion Members
$70 for General Public

But this night is about more than the games.

Frontier Casino Night benefits American Legion Post 108 in support of the Tomb of the Unknown Veteran, so come have some fun with us while supporting a meaningful cause right here in our community.

Meet Mark, one of our Golf Instructors and a familiar face in the Plantation Palms Pro Shop! ⛳

Mark has been with us for almost 2 years, but his history with golf goes back a lot further. About 27 years, with 22 years of teaching experience!

And the way he got into golf? Definitely not what we expected.

After an injury meant he could no longer play basketball, Mark needed another sport to keep his scholarship. He happened to be working part-time at a golf course and figured golf “couldn’t be that hard to figure out.”

Well… he broke par for the first time just 8 MONTHS LATER... needless to say, he figured it out pretty quickly! 😂

Today, Mark works with everyone from brand-new golfers picking up a club for the first time to experienced mini-tour players. He offers individual and group lessons and especially enjoys getting his students out on the course to work on their game in a real playing environment.

When he’s off the course, you’ll usually find him fishing, kayaking or traveling (he’s definitely an outdoors person).

We loved getting to know a little more about Mark, and thank him for allowing us the opportunity to spotlight him!

DRIVING RANGE UPDATE

We have an updated Driving Range schedule for Wednesday, August 19 through Sunday, August 23.

The Driving Range will be CLOSED DAILY from 12-2pm.

Please plan your practice accordingly and make sure to wrap up before the 12pm closure.
