Another blast from the past. This Raven Concealment Phantom holster has been with me for nearly 15 years. Probably over 1,000 draw strokes with it. Drawing and re-holstering was indescribably satisfying. The satisfaction continues with their Perun line.

My first Surefire handheld, the G2 Nitrolon incandescent. This thing has been with me for 21 years, it was a useful tool when warding off a mountain lion during a camping trip in 2005.

It’s one of my favorite pieces, selecting gear based on requirements instead of fads will ensure you stay future-proof. Of course this was supplanted by improved versions. But respect the OGs and the history.
