Regency Ice Rink Reopening Update
We are looking forward to reopening the rink next week and welcoming everyone back to the ice.
Unfortunately, due to a combination of the recent weather, a compressor issue, and human error—which I take full responsibility for—our first attempt at making the new ice did not meet our standards. Rather than move forward with a sheet of ice that isn't up to our expectations, we have decided to remove the ice that was installed last Saturday and begin a fresh sheet on Monday once the weather improves.
Our goal is to reopen no later than Friday, July 10. We will evaluate the ice throughout the week and provide a final update on Thursday evening to confirm that we're ready to open.
We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we extend our reopening by a few days. Starting the season with a quality sheet of ice is far more important than rushing the process, and we are committed to providing the best possible skating experience for everyone.
Thank you for your continued support.
