We are ready, set, go for our 2026-2027 season. This year the PA Lions have joined Rise Above. We just registered a prep, varsity and women’s (formerly Katie’s EC Lions) team. And, the Penn State Nittany Lions will have a D3 team again this year; a combination of student athletes and central PA community members. WE ARE…..growing and building opportunities.

Our Lions prep, varsity, women’s and D3 team will converge on Penn State Rec Fest on August 22nd. We use it as a springboard to the wheelchair basketball season and provide opportunities for new athletes each year. Thanks to Rise Above we are growing and creating more opportunities in central Pennsylvania.
This year is special with Tom Morris as the keynote speaker. Tom is a dear friend of Rise Above and plays an important role in developing champions at Penn State Intercollegiate Athletes.
Come join us and explore the opportunities.
