This Saturday and Sunday (July 11 & 12), Lancaster Archery Club is hosting the Penn Dutch Field/Hunter Match. All are welcome. We will be using the Hunter/Animal target set up, which consists of 28 animal paper targets, 3 shots each from distances of about 10 yards to 60 yards. Distances are known. Scoring is 6 for small center dot, 5 for center and 3 for kill zone circle (84 arrows total for a 504 perfect score). Registration is casual from 7am to 10am. Do you want to shoot 3D this Friday, Saturday or Sunday (July 3,4,5)? Lancaster Archery Club is hosting its annual 4th of July holiday shoot. We will have 40 - 3D targets staged through our trails at varying distances (pro pins up to 50 yards, hunter pins up to 35 yards). The cost is $15 per round - kids under 12 free with paying adult. Thanks to all who shot the PSAA regional matches this past weekend at our club. The results are shown below. Congratulations to the archers who won first place, and a special congratulations to all who set new records.

Lancaster Archery Club will be hosting the PSAA South East / South Central Regionals this weekend (June 27 & 28). Each day will have a shotgun start at 9:00am so it's encouraged to be registered by 8:00am. Each day will be $15.00 for adults 18 and over, $10.00 for youth 17 and younger. We will have breakfast sandwiches made to purchase in the morning and burgers and hot dogs available during the shoot.

The Field/Hunter round will be on Saturday the 27th and the Animal round will be Sunday the 28th. Everyone is welcome to come shoot both days or just one day, however only PSAA members will be qualified for awards and records. Each round will have their own awards and records. Both rounds consist of 28 targets throughout our wooded course. The field/hunter round range is between 20 feet and 80 yards using four arrows at each target, the animal round range is between 12 and 59 yards using 3 arrows at each target. Every target area will have a sign with the required yards to shoot and every yard is marked with a cylinder in the ground. On June 27 and 28, we will be hosting the 2026 PSAA SE/SC Regional Field/Hunter and Animal matches. On the 27th, we will shoot the Field/Hunter round which consists of 28 targets, 4 arrows each, from 10-80 yards (depending on class). On the 28th we will shoot the Animal round which consists of 28 paper animal targets , 3 arrows each, from 12-59 yards (depending on class). Registration opens at 8am on each day, with a shotgun start at 9am. You can shoot both or either events. See flyer below for more detail.

For the Memorial Day Weekend (May 23, 24 & 25), Lancaster Archery Club will stage 40 - 3D targets on our trails. Registration is from 7am until noon. The cost is $15 - kids under 12 are free with paying adult. LAC is located at 391 Eckman Road, Lancaster, PA 17603. See our flyer for additional details. We hope to see you this weekend.
