Our Junior High cheer team (and 3 HS JV members) got to experience a home NCA camp last week and we are so proud of them!

We want to give a special shout out to Lisa Arnold Class of ‘84 and Courtney Beth for sponsoring our JH team to attend. Without your generosity, they would have never gotten to experience something like this. We are so thankful for our community and the support you continue to show!

Staying Late? Catch a Ride!
Are you a junior high or high school student who is staying at school late due to an after-school activity and who lives across town or normally takes a bus to school? This year, you can catch a ride closer to home on our activity bus. Be on the lookout for more information from your coach, advisor or principal in the near future!

This year’s camp shirt and theme, , were dedicated to our beloved athletic trainer, Varney, whom we lost earlier this summer.

Varney was more than our athletic trainer, he was family. He cared deeply for our athletes, brought laughter to our coaches, and we’ll always miss hearing him randomly counting from the sidelines.

We’re asking our community to help make an unforgettable opportunity possible for our Junior High Cheer Team!

This year, our athletes have the chance to participate in a professional NCA Home Camp, giving them an experience similar to what our high school program receives. This camp will help build their skills, confidence, teamwork, and leadership both on and off the mat.

While families were aware of the cost, many are struggling to cover the expense. Cheerleading is a costly sport, and as an inner-city school, financial barriers can prevent deserving athletes from participating.

We’re asking local businesses, organizations, and community members to consider sponsoring a cheerleader. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to making this opportunity a reality for every athlete.

Sponsorships are needed by August 5, 2026, to meet our camp payment deadline.
