Scout's Lodge Located on the Econfina river in the heart of big bends forgotten coast and a few minute boat ride to the gulf. Full bathroom with shower. sleeps up to 4.

Its the Perfect get away for charter fishing, kayaking, canoeing, hunting, hiking, biking, photography or just finding solitude. Total of 3 cabins located in the center of 12 private acres, 35 ft in the tree tops. Each cabin has kitchenette, a queen size bed in bedroom, 2 single beds in loft. Common areas consist of outdoor cooking area. charcoal grill, Blackstone flat top gas grill. boat house with electricity. small refrigerator, stereo, counter space with sink and plenty of seating for your family get together. vehicle and boat parking for each cabin. No boat, no problem. Scouts Lodge is located just inside the big bend area and a 10 minute scenic country drive away from Hickory Mounds picnic area. Hickory mounds host a observation tower for the outdoor photographer and bird watchers. Plenty of bank fishing and kayaking areas. If horse back riding, biking or hiking is your thing, Econfina state park in the big bend area offers plenty of marked trails and the Brazilian bat houses to explore. So much to see from wildlife to wild orchids and thousands of acres of Florida wildlife management area to explore and
Wakulla springs, St. marks river and Aucilla River just a few miles away.

What a weekend for two gals. (Besties) Diana Conway and Candy Mae Byrd. Let's go gator hunting! Huh? Gator hunting! Yep gator hunting! How you ask? well I know a gator hunter named Joel Baldree with Aucilla outlaws charters and he knows a lodge. Go pack!

As with any event. Things must come to a end. We enjoyed our week long adventures with the CMO crew and the veterans they bring with. So much behind the scenes has to happen to make these events. Giving recognition to all is nearly impossible. From photographers like Alex Sturgill to volunteers like Courtney Bethea family, fund raising by outlaw smoke and salt. As well as many more involved. They put heart felt love into it all. Fundraising, shopping, dedication of time to making these events the best it could possibly be. We thank you all for the donations. We are all proud of our veterans and equally proud of our volunteers. Thank you all for the lifetime memories that was created.

From land to water. The Combat Marine Outdoors veterans covered it all. Hog hunting, gator hunting, flats fishing for mighty reds, off shore grouper and even a splash in the springs of Florida. Every evening a chance to share a great meal and swap stories about the days adventure. Special thanks to people like Chad & Dana Schwab for a evening meal at our local restaurant. Its folks who care about our country and veterans that truly make a difference. Folks like the Schwab family that makes once in a lifetime adventure possible. Thank you and God bless you.

Another great day on the water with our vets. Scallops, Scallops, Scallops everywhere! Followed up with a great meal and fellowship with a hosting family. Special thanks to Courtney Bethea and family for having us. Mr. James knows how to do a fish fry that will win competition. We are great full for the support we receive from Whitney Schwab, Tanner Schwab and family. Mr Rodneys bake beans are the best in florida.
