đ One-Legged Half Moon | Ardha Chandrasana đ
Balance, strength, and focus all meet in this beautiful standing pose. đż
Ardha Chandrasana challenges your standing leg and core while encouraging mobility through the hips and hamstrings. It also asks you to find stability while your body is moving in multiple directionsâa great reminder that balance isnât about being perfectly still, but about making constant small adjustments.
⨠Builds lower-body strengthâ¨â¨ Challenges balance and coordinationâ¨â¨ Engages the coreâ¨â¨ Encourages hip and hamstring mobilityâ¨â¨ Develops focus and body awareness
And remember: balance is a practice, not a performance. Use a block or wall for support, keep your standing knee soft, and make the pose your own. đ

Sometimes yoga is about the practiceâand sometimes itâs about the people you meet along the way. đ¤â¨
We love the moments before and after class just as much as the time on the mat. The conversations, the laughs, the community, and the feeling of being welcomed exactly as you are.
Come for the yoga. Stay for the people. đ§ââď¸đŤ

Get a little wild with your practice. đżâ¨
Wild Thing (Camatkarasana) is a beautiful reminder that yoga can be both grounding and playful. This heart-opening pose challenges strength, balance, mobility, and body awareness while inviting us to move with curiosity rather than perfection.
Yoga isnât always about staying still or getting every pose âright.â Sometimes itâs about exploring what your body can do, trying something new, and finding a little joy along the way. đ
So take a breath, trust your practice, and donât be afraid to get a little wild on the mat!

âOur greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.ââ¨â Confucius đż
Determination doesnât mean you never struggle. It means you keep choosing to move forwardâeven when progress feels slow, motivation fades, or the path looks different than you imagined.
Your yoga practice is a beautiful reminder that growth isnât always dramatic. Sometimes itâs showing up when you donât feel like it. Sometimes itâs holding a pose a little longer, taking one more mindful breath, or simply giving yourself permission to begin again.
You donât have to be the strongest, most flexible, or most experienced person in the room.
You just have to keep showing up for yourself.
Progress takes patience. Growth takes consistency. And every time you choose to keep going, youâre building something stronger than physical strengthâyouâre building resilience. đ

âThe body is your temple. Keep it pure and clean for the soul to reside in.ââ¨â B.K.S. Iyengar đż
Yoga teaches us to listen to and connect with our bodies, while strength training helps us build the muscle and resilience to support them. Together, they create a balanced approach to movementâstrong, mobile, stable, and capable. đŞđ§ââď¸

Add a little weight to your Triangle Pose! đŞđż
Triangle Pose (Utthita Trikonasana) already challenges your balance, mobility, and core control. Adding a light dumbbell can increase the strength demandâespecially through the shoulders, arms, core, and stabilizing muscles.
⨠More strength: Added resistance gives your muscles an extra challenge.
⨠More stability: Your core and supporting muscles work harder to keep you controlled.
⨠More body awareness: Moving with resistance encourages slow, intentional movement and control.
The key is to keep the weight light enough that you can maintain good alignment and a steady breath. More weight isnât always betterâquality movement comes first!
