Participants will get to know the Gopher baseball players, develop their skills while learning the game and having fun, and autographs at the end.

Calling all Lakeville Baseball Association players and families!

LBA players from both the South and North communities are invited to meet Brian Lorenz, the new head coach of Lakeville South High School Baseball.

This is a great opportunity for young players to meet Coach Lorenz, hear about his vision for South Baseball and connect with the broader Lakeville baseball community.

Youth players—wear your baseball gear, bring your teammates and come say hello!

Old guys. Real baseball. Questionable recovery times.

This weekend, some of Minnesota’s most experienced ballplayers are taking the field for the Minnesota 50+ Baseball Northfield–Elko/Lakeville Tournament.

The fastballs may have lost a few MPH. The trip from first to third may require some advance planning. And there will almost certainly be more Advil than sunflower seeds in the dugout.

But these guys can still play.

Games run Friday through Sunday, August 28–30, at Belzer Stadium in Lakeville and Sechler Park in Northfield, with championship games Sunday at Belzer.

Come out, grab some food and a cold drink, and watch grown men prove that baseball careers don’t have to end just because your knees think they should.

A NEW ERA begins for Lakeville South Baseball!

Please join us on Tuesday, September 1, for an opportunity to meet Brian Lorenz, the new head coach of the Lakeville South High School baseball program.

Everyone in the Lakeville South baseball community is welcome—including youth players and families, current high school players and families, alumni, coaches, supporters and community members.

Coach Lorenz will introduce himself, share his vision for the program and connect with the players of all levels, families and supporters who make Lakeville South Baseball special.
