One of the families in our association is in need of our help. ❤️

If you’ve been around YRCA, chances are you’ve seen River and his family. River was born with arthrogryposis, a rare condition that affects his joints and mobility. He recently underwent two arm surgeries and, through everything he has faced, he continues to be the happiest little guy and is absolutely THRIVING. ❤️

River is cared for by a world-renowned specialist team in West Palm Beach, which means his family has to make the trip back and forth multiple times a week for his therapy and care. As you can imagine, those trips add up FAST between gas, food, missed work, and everything else that comes along with traveling that far so frequently.

So at our next event, we’re holding a 50/50 raffle for River and his family! 🎟️

Half of everything raised will go directly to River’s family, and the other half will go to one lucky winner!

OK so heres the last thing that will be said on this topic. I have done my best (for FREE) to make everyone happy all year and do the best we could with this association. For people to say we are unfair is crazy to me. So we were told in April of the wcmb world finals and asked to change the dates. I responded with "our schedule is already solidified and we cannot change the dates but we will try to accommodate". I brought it up at the parent meeting and nobody opposed the idea so a slack for them (without hiring arena help and stock for another day) was the decision. Then little britches dates were also said to be over our finals. so we moved our finals performance to night time to accommodate. Then it became a huge fairness argument last night. I feel like that took care of everyone in conflict. Why is this a conversation and why was nothing brought up at the parent meeting? So heres the deal we can go with option A where everyone is taken care of and can make both, or we can go with option B where we go back to the original schedule with no slack and no night performance and everyone has to pick and choose where to go since the schedule was solidified before little britches and everyone else's came out. Both are fair and both im willing to do. Im doing the best I can here guys I just wish yall could see that. But I am at my witts end with this crap.

End of rant; Next year once the schedule is solidified that is the schedule. There will be no slack and no adjustments. I try to satisfy everyone and get bashed for it so that's done.

Feel like i need to make a clarification post.

Slack is only for kids entered in another FINALS ON OCTOBER 3rd. And the ONLY people who fall into that category are bull riders. If you are not a bull rider entered in another associations FINALS, then slack doesn’t apply to you or your child.

We will not have slack because of other associations normal rodeos / events, but a finals that was brought to our attention 6 months ago is a different story.
