Some brief notes on visit to Arnhem in September 2025 on the annual Airborne Weekend which takes place this weekend. So much appreciation for our troops who took part in Market Garden in 1944. The trip also included my 3rd visit to the gelredome, home of Vitesse but the first for these particular commemorations. In 2025, 81 years since the Battle of Arnhem, I visited Arnhem for the Airborne Weekend Commemorations. Of course it was the 80th of it being remembered as World War 2 raged on. This is a simple overview of the activities that took place to remember the brave armed forces and residents of Arnhem during the Market Garden operation. A pleasure to do our wee bit for charity 💜

We are delighted to have been awarded a Nationwide Colleagues Grant Nationwide UK to support the families at Young Lives vs Cancer home from home “Marion’s House” with shopping vouchers throughout the next 12 months.
We have worked with the team at Marion’s House through the years and the grant of £5200 is a significant award that will guarantee we can assist the families in need over a full year 💜.
Thank you to Nationwide and their colleagues, Isobel, Sharon and Fiona who joined us as we handed over an initial batch of vouchers to Anne, the Accommodation Manager.
