Our girls showed up today for the Brazosport ISD 5K and for the Harvest for the Hungry - Texas setup, serving, and helping where they were needed at the gala.

Show up. Do what you can, when you can. Volunteering isn’t about having endless time or having all the answers. It’s about being willing to give what you have: your time, your talents, your energy, and your heart. Even the smallest act of service can make a difference in someone’s life.
Don’t wait until you have more time. Don’t wait until you feel ready. Start where you are, use what you have, and make a difference where you can.

Week 2 of the 2Words Captains Course! Another great week of growing our leadership skills and learning what it means to lead by example. This week, we talked about the standards within our program and ways we can hold ourselves and our teammates accountable to those standards. Leadership isn’t just about titles, it’s about setting the example, supporting one another, and helping make everyone around us better.

Today, our girls came together to send Peyton Richards off with plenty of love, encouragement, and good vibes as she prepares for surgery tomorrow to repair her torn ACL. Injuries are never easy, but a season-ending injury can be especially difficult for an athlete who has worked so hard and poured so much into getting ready for season.We are praying for a successful surgery, a smooth recovery, and strength in the days ahead. Most importantly, we’re praying that Peyton feels surrounded by the love and support of her teammates, coaches, family, and everyone cheering her on.

Our girls had the opportunity to give back to their community by volunteering at the Pregnancy Help Center of Brazosport.
They spent their time organizing and sorting items and helping wherever they were needed. They reminded us that making a difference doesn’t always require a grand gesture, sometimes it simply means showing up, serving others, and being willing to help.
