Most people walk right past this door every day and have no idea what’s behind it. 🎸

Tucked on the Laguna Beach promenade is a hidden staircase that leads to: Tommy Benson’s Laguna Guitar School and full recording studio.

Tommy has been teaching private guitar lessons and helping musicians record, release, and distribute their music right here for two and a half years. And the work happening inside? Grammy-worthy, literally. He just wrapped production on a project with local Connie Rae Knapp, featuring Jeff “Skunk” Baxter of Steely Dan and the Doobie Brothers.

This is what I love most about Laguna Beach. There are layers to this community that you only discover when you slow down and look a little closer.
