Lafayette Center for Dance is committed to providing quality dance instruction in a fun, professional environment. Lafayette Center for Dance provides high-quality training in a variety of dance forms for ages pre-school and up, in a caring and nurturing atmosphere. We develop dancers capable of performing live on stage by instilling in our students technical expertise, a sense of pride, confidence, accomplishment, group spirit, and self-worth. LCD provides students with the opportunity to perform on stage before live audiences through LSPA-funded productions, as well as preparing students for dance auditions, scholarships, and job interviews. We provide our community with high-quality ballet productions that add to the quality of life and support the overall mission of the Lafayette Society for Performing Arts.
