Due to a staff shortage, **reservations are now required on Fridays and Saturdays for all services** so we can guarantee a staff member is on hand at your play time.
You can book on our website http://smalltown-playhouse.square.site/) or message our page. Once your reservation is confirmed, you’ll receive a text with more information about your visit.
-You can also request a reservation during our posted “closed hours.” That usually means we won’t have staff on site, but we can arrange access at a time that works for you. There are a few closures I cannot avoid, and those dates are listed below.
This is hard for me to write. I opened the Playhouse because I wanted families in our community to have a place to bring their children, make memories, and feel welcome. I still want that with all my heart. But right now, I’m the only person working here while also running my dog boarding business, caring for my two toddlers, and dealing with health issues.
I’m trying to find hours that work for you without missing so much time with my girls. Which is why I am making it possible to make reservations at almost anytime of the day. If it says "CLOSED" but you are still wanting to come- message the playhouse page on Facebook. I’m trying to keep my head up. I don’t have all the answers yet, and I want to be transparent with the community that has given us a chance.
If you can’t visit right now, you can still help by [buying a Lafayette Playhouse shirt] (https://wildflower-wire-co.printify.me/collection/lafayette-playhouse), sharing our page, or tagging someone who might enjoy the Playhouse. If you’d like to make a monetary donation, our Venmo is ****. Fill out our survey https://forms.gle/tkV2xsjRuudEKBvg7
Please don’t feel obligated—your kind words and prayers mean a great deal, too.
I would truly love to hear your recommendations, questions, and concerns. Thank you for caring about this little place and for bearing with us 💛
