The Wrigley's Doublemint Gum slogan is "Double your pleasure, double the fun." We may be biased, but we think we will be more than doubling the fun with Moore Park Raceway's Sept 19th race date. MPR will be hosting a doubleheader Championship races AND doubling up on the Championships, as Nation Club LA/MS joins us for their Championship closing race. Yes, every race day is a special one, but when it's a doubleheader and double the series all in one day, for 1 haul, at 1 amazing location, it’s EXTRA SPECIAL.

Moore Park Race 6 Main Events

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone this Saturday night, August 22nd for Race #6 of the Moore Park Raceway’s 2026 championship. And yes, it is a night race. The weather forecast is looking clear of any serious rain storms, but the heat indexes are high. In an effort to accommodate for the recent extreme heat, we will be hosting our driver’s meeting at 6pm so we can maximize the amount of racing in the cooler night air. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!! To everyone who was able to join us today at Moore Park Raceway. We had so much help that we will not need any further assistance tomorrow, Sunday the 16th. We absolutely could not have done it without the help we received, and that includes two new families who signed up for their MPR memberships today!

The heat was absolutely brutal, but it didn’t stop us from completing a list of things, including:
• Painting the start/finish line
• Painting the tram lines
• Painting the grid/scale line concrete
• Cutting grass
• Spraying w**d killer
• W**d trimming
• Blowing off the track, grid, and pit area
• Cleaning out the timing tower
• Addressing ant mounds
• And so much more!

With the current weather forecast showing high heat indexes (despite also predicting more clouds than Sun), we’re certain our racers will appreciate the nighttime racing planned for next Saturday, August 22nd. We wanted to remind all of our club members that track access will be limited this weekend Saturday August 15th and possibly (if necessary, depending on conditions) Sunday the 16th while MPR will be hosting a work day. On-track access will be limited during this weekend due to the planned work that includes on-track painting, maintenance, cleanup, facility improvements, and more.

We recognize that many of our local racers will be participating in the Texas Karting League event at Speedsportz. Racer participation is not required during this work weekend. However, if you're available to come out and lend a hand, your help would be greatly appreciated. We encourage you to post here, in our WhatsApp group, and/or email your interest in assisting.

In preparation for the upcoming August 22nd Moore Park Raceway night race, MPR will be hosting a work weekend on August 15th and 16th. Due to the nature of the planned work, (including painting, maintenance, cleanup, etc. ) on-track access will be limited during this weekend.

Racer participation is not required during this work weekend. However, if you're available to come out and lend a hand, your help would be greatly appreciated. We encourage you to post here, in our WhatsApp group, and/or email your interest in assisting.
