Because the scale only tells you one thing: your total body weight.
A DEXA scan gives you a MUCH bigger picture.
It can show you your muscle mass, body fat, visceral adipose tissue, and bone density — giving you information you simply can’t get from a scale or a mirror.
And THAT information can actually influence the choices you make every day.
Are you strength training enough to maintain and build muscle?
Are you getting enough protein?
Are you doing the things that support strong bones?
How much visceral fat are you carrying?
Are the things you’re doing (and is all the time you're spending) actually changing your body composition over time?
Especially as women move through our 40s, 50s and beyond, this information becomes incredibly valuable.
Not because we need another number to obsess over.
Quite the opposite.
Because I want you to have more information about your body so you can make better decisions for it.
TFL is about building a strong body for the long game, not chasing a smaller one.
In April I did mine (and have my 2nd scan on September 18th) through BodySpec | Gold-standard DEXA scans , and the actual scan took about 6 minutes. You can find a BodySpec | Gold-standard DEXA scans location near you and get a baseline of your own numbers.
And then? Use the information.
And most importantly — train accordingly, fuel accordingly, recover accordingly, and make sure you have a place to train that actually works for your life and your goals.
We’ve got you, gf.
DM me “SCAN” and let’s get you training.
