Let’s hear it for Terri!! Terri was picked by our coaching staff for Athlete of the Month! She has been putting in the work consistently at our Legends class, and shows up ready to go. Terri has made huge strides in building her fitness journey. We are so excited to celebrate all her achievements! Congratulations Terri!!

For the last 12+ years, the gym was the first thing I thought about when I woke up in the morning and the last thing I thought about before I went to bed. It has been an incredible blessing to our lives and many others. This week we will be transitioning ownership to someone who shares the same vision and love for community that my family and I have. We are not saying goodbye, we will continue to be part of the community and will keep coaching our sports programs and sub coach.

With the help of many incredible people, the community of Training Day was built in 2014. A gym, yes, but also a sanctuary, a place for refuge from the stressors of life. A place where you can go to sweat out life’s problems with the cheering support of a loving, fun, community! So many amazing things have happened in this space over the last 12 years. Our children grew up here! Lifelong friendships, and even marriages were born here.

We are forever grateful for the support of the people who have patronized the gym over the years, our amazing community members and our staff who are family to us. We are super excited for the new gym owner, Rad Cunningham, to carry on the Training Day Legacy and continue to foster a supportive, inclusive, fun community!

This week, our gym community suffered a tragic loss. One of our beloved members suffered from a medical emergency at the gym, and sadly she passed away. Nelly was one of the kindest humans on the planet, and was loved by our members and staff. She leaves behind a loving husband, and two very young children. Our community is rallying to support Nelly’s family. If you feel compelled to support, please consider making a donation to the Go Fund Me set up to support Nelly’s family. We are also collecting gift cards for groceries, gas, and meal delivery services. Donations can be dropped off at the gym.

We would like to thank our incredible staff and community members who acted immediately to get Nelly emergency aid. The Lacey Fire Department responded within 4 minutes to provide exceptional care.
