Sectional Meet Results! Here are the results from the sectional track meet at Marathon! We have two events advancing to the state track meet at UW-La Crosse!
Tommy Dettinger was seeded 8th in the 3200m run. He ran a time of 9:56.34, a personal record of over 18 seconds, and he finished in 5th place. Tommy is now the school record holder in this event. Tommy's time was also good enough to advance to the state meet as an extra qualifier! Good luck at state, Tommy!
Our Boys 4x800m relay team ran a time of 8:17.37! They placed 6th overall and broke their previous school record from Tuesday's regional meet. Their time was good enough to earn them an extra qualifying bid to the state meet! Congrats to Ben Dettinger, Tommy Dettinger, Elijah Jain, and Alex LaBlanc. Good luck at the state meet!
Evan Hornstein finished his career on Friday with a personal best time of 11.27, and he placed 6th! This time puts him in 7th overall on our top 10 honor roll! Congrats on an awesome career, Evan!
Our Boys 4x100m placed 9th with a time of 45.92, a season best time. This time puts them 6th on our top 10 honor roll. The relay was made up of Austin Hornstein, Evan Hornstein, Alex LaBlanc, and Elijah Jain. Congrats on a great finish boys!
Lauren McCreary competed in the Discus on Friday. She had a throw of 105' 2", close to her PR. She finished 11th overall and is now 5th on our top 10 honor roll! Congrats on a great season, Lauren!
Ben Dettinger ran the 400 dash. He placed 11th and ran a personal best time of 56.09. Congrats on a great race, Ben!
Violet Small competed in the 3200m run. She ran a good race against a strong field of competitors. She finished in 16th place with a time of 15:23.29. Congrats on a great season, Violet!
