Onsight has a 50+ foot high main climbing area and more than 12,000 square feet of climbing surface. Professional route setters create fun and challenging climbs that cater to all levels of climbing. Our bouldering area features 15 foot high climbing walls with over 18 inches of seamless padding to cushion your fall. We offer diverse climbing that is friendly for all skill levels and will provide an exhilarating experience for both beginners and experts. Whether you are an experienced climber or just trying out the sport for the first time, we want you to be part of our community. The facility has a climbing specific training area, yoga classes, fitness clinics, training groups, and personal coaching. Our private climbing area offers a perfect place to hold your child’s next birthday party, corporate team building events, or other private group events. The private climbing area has auto belays, top-rope routes, and a children’s top-out boulder complete with a slide. Onsight also offers youth climbing clubs for ages 3 to 18, a competitive youth climbing team, child watch, climbing classes, lock-ins, climbing camps, scout events, and corporate team building. Onsight hosts a range of events including member appreciation nights, fundraising events, movie screenings, food truck nights, climbing competitions, and more. Guests have the option of purchasing a Day Pass, 10-Visit Punch Pass, or becoming members. Climbing gear, Rental gear, drinks, and snacks are also available at the front desk. Congratulations to our 2026 Vertical Mile winner Thomas McCurry! Thomas climbed an incredible 67,910 ft during the month of August to secure the victory and win a 70m Mammut Rope! A huge thank you Mammut for sponsoring this event. 🛸

Jen is a dedicated member of our early morning crew, and her positivity always brightens our day! 💚
1) Tell us about yourself & your climbing journey:
“My first experience climbing was in middle school in the New River Gorge as part of a Girl Scout adventure camp. (We also rappelled and did whitewater rafting.) I had a blast but didn’t realize it was something I could do regularly back home. So when I signed my kids up for climbing at Onsight, I knew I didn’t want to sit on the sidelines and watch. I’ve been climbing regularly since!”
2) What is your favorite part of the Onsight community?
“Early member hours and the morning crew!”
3) What climbing goal are you currently working toward?
“Clipping on holds that aren’t jugs (I’m a bit of a scaredy cat).”
4) What’s your favorite crag?
“The Image Wall at South Clear — the view from the top gets me every time!”
5) What’s your climbing superpower?
“Singing about how much I hate slab and dihedral while climbing slab and dihedral.”
6) What’s your favorite crag snack?
“Nothing hits like a turkey and cheese sandwich!”
