Friday Night Fever Recap!

Friday night in Hendersonville was a big one for , with the Dragons getting a chance to race against some of the top middle school teams from across Tennessee!

🔥 Varsity Girls finished 8th out of 17 teams. Leading the way was Eleanor Hight, who finished 10th overall in 12:44.88, earning a trip to the stage and a Top 10 medal! 🏅 Izel Che, Nicole Goncharova, Anneliese Ventrini and Madilyn Yearby rounded out the Dragons' scoring five.

🔥 Varsity Boys finished 16th out of 19 teams, led by Jackson Pounders with a time of 12:24.96. Cayden Thomas, Kasen Andrews, Dylan McDonald and Ford Mims rounded out the scoring five.

Our JV Girls were represented by two 6th graders, Adelaide Butler and Carleigh Clay, who got some great race experience in a huge field.

It was a tough night of racing against some really good teams, but that's exactly why we made the trip to Hendersonville. Plenty to build on and plenty of season left!

The Dragons are back closer to home on September 5th at Mike Rose Soccer Complex for another HUGE race. Teams from all over the Southeast will be coming to Memphis for one of the biggest meets of the season!

Busy weekend for the coaches, and a full update from last night’s race will be posted soon. But we couldn’t wait to recognize Eleanor and her impressive Top 10 finish last night!

Tonight, heads to Hendersonville, TN for Friday Night Lights and our first regular season race of 2026!

The Dragons get their first tough challenge of the season, lining up against great competition from across the state of Tennessee.

Friday night. Under the lights. Tough competition. Time to race!

The work started in June. The work has been put in. Now it’s time to RACE.

We’ve put together a tough schedule this season, one that will challenge our Dragons from start to finish. We’ll face strong competition, tough courses, and some of the best teams around.

That’s exactly what we want.

Every race is another chance to get faster, get tougher, and prepare for what matters at the end of the season.

The road won’t be easy. It’s not supposed to be.

So… what did you do this morning???

and started the day with a HOT practice and then headed over to the Johnson Park Spray Park to cool off.

A little running, a lot of water, and of course… DONUTS!

Run hard. Splash harder. Eat donuts.

Not a bad way to spend a Saturday morning!

opened the season today at the West Tennessee Jamboree in Jackson, with the girls finishing 4th overall and the boys finishing 7th.

Leading the way for the girls was 7th grader Eleanor Hight, who finished 3rd overall with a time of 8:46.6. Izel Che was next for the Dragons at 9:44.2, followed by Nicole Goncharova at 10:01.6, Madilyn Yearby at 10:46.6 and Maggie Moscon at 10:50.7.

On the boys side, 7th grader Jackson Pounders led the Dragons with an 8:51.2. Cayden Thomas finished in 9:02.8, followed by Kasen Andrews at 9:14.0, Andrew Adamson at 9:43.4 and Andy White at 10:20.4.

This was our first race of the season, and it gave us a good look at where we are and what we need to work on. We have a lot of racing still ahead of us, and we are looking forward to seeing how this group develops as the season moves along.

Maggie shared with us that tonight set a new record for fundraising at their restaurant. That's pretty incredible, and it's because of all of you.
