A different kind of transformation - apparently its just my thing 🤷🏻♂️
For some reason I thought it would be brilliant to take on a big garage project during prep. It was not. But it was fun and its finished now and im glad I did it - we desperately needed the space upgrade! Floor to ceiling shelves along a 25 foot wall with room for 45 divided storage bins in there, all behind custom built rail and stile doors with soft close hinges.
Now to load it up with crap 😂

Big congrats to Maddy .fitness for her showing at the OCB Michigan Natural recently - first (?) show of the season in the books, with MAYBE another one soon. She's in suspense right now as well I know (sorry Maddy) - these pics just came in and I need to update our needs analysis and offer an opinion on doing this additional show or if we go into off-season - by the time you're seeing this that decision should be made.
This is the phase where I like to collaborate with my clients vs. just dictating what I think they should do - every answer is a viable path, some might be more appropriate than others. So I'll make my recommendation, then we'll chat it out and get on the same page and move forward from there. Stay tuned and congrats again to Maddy!

The most common reason people abandon their fitness goals isn't lack of motivation. It's a standard they would never apply to anything else in their life.
Work gets hard and you push through. Family gets complicated and you figure it out. Schedules change and you adapt. Nobody frames those things as reasons to quit because quitting isn't an option.
But a diet gets inconvenient, a workout schedule gets disrupted, or life gets busy and suddenly stopping feels justified. It isn't. It's just a different category getting a different standard.
Nobody is asking for perfect. A stretch where you're doing pretty average is worth more than you think. Staying in the game at 70% over months beats two perfect weeks followed by quitting every single time.
