The big celebration was Saturday but today is the actual day… 14 years ago today real hot yoga Knoxville opened its doors. At the time, neither of us really knew what to expect so we hoped for the best and figured things out as we went along. When we originally “hoped for the best” I think we undershot because we had no idea what our yoga community would become and how much we would come to genuinely care for everyone in it.

We’ve been blessed to consistently have Knoxville’s BEST instructors and staff.

And if someone would have told us that clients who attended our grand opening weekend back in 2012 would still be with us 14 years later, who would have believed it?

We’ve seen some of our yogis grow up, go away for college and life but come back during holidays. We’ve seen many of you go from single, to married, to becoming parents and our hearts have swelled with pride. We’ve also witnessed the hard separations, death of loved ones, and it’s broken our hearts too. We’ve personally been through our own ups and downs, and every step of the way, we’ve been grateful for our incredible yoga community. The positive energy, genuine kindness, dedication, love, and bad@ss motivation you bring to the studio each and every day is felt and appreciated by all!

Our plan was to run a series of reports to see exactly who was here with us those first few months in 2012 and see who’s still with us, but then it leaves out some who have been regulars since early 2013… and every time we thought to include different dates it left out people who have been extraordinarily important to us. And then the list just go so long! What a beautiful problem to have, too many people that we genuinely love, admire, and appreciate.
