Good Monday morning, Big Orange family. This week is Game week. All the prep and practice will be soon wrapped up and the Vols will take on Furman! Good Wednesday morning, Big Orange family. If you have not heard, Dolly Parton has passed away. I remember growing up and seeing her on the Cas Walker Show, then the Porter Wagner Show. She made us proud to be Tennesseans; she was our ambassador. She also showed that just because you were dirt poor, you could grow up and be whatever you set your sights on. We will always be thankful and grateful for her and all she has done for Tennessee. Thank you for loving us, Dolly. You will be sadly missed.

Good Thursday morning, Big Orange family. We hope your day is off to a great start and your week so far has been grand. Not sure if you have heard yet, but for the first time since 1970 both Alabama and Tennessee will wear their "home" colors when they face off in Neyland this year and Tuscaloosa next year. In just 15 short days it will be football time in Tennessee. We wish you all the best on this day and let's go back to 1967.

Tennessee wide receiver Larry Seivers out-jumps two Auburn defenders before landing on his feet, turning and running into the endzone for one of two touchdown in the Vols’ 21-17 win over the Tigers in 1975.

“Seivers is the best receiver I’ve ever coached against at Tennessee… I don’t think Tennessee has ever had a better pass receiver,” Auburn head coach Ralph “Shug” Jordan told reporters after the game.
