Good Thursday Big Orange family! Whew it is going to be another hot one today so make sure to hydrate and look for shade or AC when possible. Also, as we get ready to celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday we wish you all safe journeys on your travels and the best time to be had with family and friends. We wish you all the best and let’s look back on the year 2003.
Derrick Tinsley paid off a fourth down gamble with a touchdown to put Tennessee ahead of Miami just before halftime in 2003.
The score loomed large the rest of the way. The Vols won, 10-6 to end the Hurricanes’ nation-leading win streak at the Orange Bowl.
Tinsley recovered a muffed punt in the final minutes to secure the win.
