There's a difference between a good week and a good life.

A juice cleanse, a new workout class, a green smoothie phase — those give you a taste of what feeling good is like. But real health isn't a moment you experience. It's a rhythm you build: how you eat, how you move, how you sleep, how you carry stress.

That's the difference between chasing a feeling and living a lifestyle.

At Vital Wellness, we're not interested in quick fixes. We help you understand what's actually happening at the cellular level — in your metabolism, your gut, your brain — so the changes you make actually stick, and health becomes something you live in, not something you visit.

Ready to stop experiencing health and start living it? Visit our website to learn more 🌿

🧠 Every ingredient in this bowl has a purpose.

At Vital Wellness, we don't believe in "superfoods." We believe in foods that have been well-studied and work together to support your health.

Our Brain Bowl is built around ingredients shown to support memory, focus, and long-term brain health.

🐟 Wild Salmon → Rich in DHA & EPA omega-3s, the fats your brain literally uses to build healthy cell membranes. Plus astaxanthin, a powerful antioxidant that helps protect brain tissue.

🥑 Avocado → Healthy monounsaturated fats, potassium, magnesium, and lutein help support healthy blood flow and optimal brain function.

🥬 Leafy Greens → Packed with folate, B vitamins, lutein, zeaxanthin, and betaine—all nutrients linked to better cognitive aging and healthy methylation.

🫐 Blueberries → Their anthocyanins can cross the blood-brain barrier and accumulate in the hippocampus, the area responsible for learning and memory.

🌰 Walnuts → The most antioxidant-rich nut and an excellent source of plant-based omega-3 fats.

🥚 Pasture-Raised Eggs → One of the best sources of choline, the nutrient needed to make acetylcholine—your brain's memory neurotransmitter.

🥦 Broccoli → Contains sulforaphane, which activates your body's master antioxidant defense system (Nrf2) and supports healthy detoxification.

🫒 Extra Virgin Olive Oil → Rich in polyphenols and oleocanthal, compounds associated with reduced inflammation and better brain health.

💡 Vital Tip: Food quality matters.

✔️ Choose wild-caught salmon whenever possible.
✔️ Buy pasture-raised eggs from a local farm or farmers market.
✔️ Always purchase organic spinach and leafy greens when you can—spinach consistently ranks on the Dirty Dozen list for pesticide residue.

Small choices made consistently create healthier brains, healthier bodies, and healthier futures. Save this post to make this next week!

Which of these brain foods is already a regular part of your week? Let us know below! 👇💙

What’s for dinner tonight?? 🍽️

Come pick fresh veggies from the garden with me and turn them into a healthy (and delicious!) dinner!

Tonight’s skillet is loaded with squash, zucchini, onions, and sweet potatoes. Sauté the veggies, then cook your chicken thighs separately with salt and pepper and add them in. Finish it off with fresh-picked sage and rosemary, then give everything a good stir. Want to make it extra delicious? Add some bacon or cheese!

The best part? This recipe is so simple and works with whatever veggies and herbs you have on hand. It’s low-carb, high-protein, and packed with nourishing veggies.

Healthy eating doesn’t have to be boring, bland, or leave you hungry. It can be simple, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying.

And one more exciting thing… fresh organic veggies from .farm will be coming to Vital Wellness soon! 😉🥕🌿

After more than 30 years in medicine, one thing became clear:

In the 90s, Dr. Pardue began noticing chronic diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and acid reflux were everywhere.

The solution was often another prescription.

But what if we’ve been asking the wrong question?

Instead of “What drug treats this?” maybe we should be asking, “What’s causing it in the first place?”

A major new study following nearly 40,000 adults over age 65 for 15 years found that people who ate eggs regularly had significantly lower rates of Alzheimer’s disease—with those eating 5 or more eggs per week showing up to a 27% lower risk.

This study confirms what Dr. Pardue has been saying for years: eggs are one of nature’s most nutrient-dense foods and can play an important role in supporting long-term brain health.
