Third Creek Greenway parkrun

23 Runners and walkers braved the heat. Some people even thought it was cooler than last week. We had:

3 first timers (welcome Peyton, Michael, and Angel)
2 PBS (congrats Bill and Debra)
3 children in strollers
1 bark runner

Why not join us next week and see if it is any cooler? As always we are looking for volunteers in the coming weeks and are very grateful to this week's volunteers.

UPDATE UPDATE: We have a full roster for 9/5. Thank you Susan and Philip for taking this last two spots.

UPDATE: We have a Run Director but now need a Tailwalker and a barcode scanner.

Volunteers needed this weekend!

We are currently in need of a barcode scanner and a run director. No experience needed for barcode scanning! Run directing does require a little training, but we are always happy and willing to train new run directors. Can you help us out so we can put on our event?

We had another great turnout and some lovely, dry weather. It was exciting to welcome five first timers! We hope you will all come back. We also had visitors from the UK (Leeds and Brighton), and four PBs. We are looking forward to even better running weather as we move into the fall.

Please remember that we will keep our 8 a.m. start time through September and will return to 9 a.m. starts in October.

Today we had 37 finishers of which 14 were first timers and included visitors from Ohio and the UK. We also had 5 new PBs!!! Well done everyone!!

33 participants of all speeds completed the course. We welcomed 5 first timers and hope to see them back again. We also welcomed visitors from Australia, the UK, Washington State and Florida. Despite the heat, we had 3 pbs (congrats Justin, Gareth, and Steve).

As usual, a big shout out to our volunteers. We have spots open next week for timer, barcode scanner and tail walker. Could this be your month to start volunteering?
