Please say a prayer for our racing friend who suffered a cardiac arrest last night at the track. Last we heard he was in recovery. God definitely put the right people near him at that moment.

It’s been quite in the shop lately. Since our last race at I-75 speedway we have gone on a family vacation to Canada. I Made a major career change and racing has come to a stand still dueto all the rain almost every weekend. I’m starting to think we need to start racing jet skis. We did pick up some new shoes for the karts. We will be running the new Burris M33 treads the rest of the year along with the Burris 33 slicks. Hopefully we will be back at it next weekend. Thanks to all our sponsors for their continued support throughout the years. We are beyond grateful.

Race Night Recap

We made the trip to Sweetwater for a race at the I-75 Kart Track. This was our first time racing there and their first big event since opening.

It was definitely a long night. We unloaded with a pretty good kart and felt competitive in practice, especially considering the track conditions. We qualified 3rd and thought we needed a little more drive coming off the corners, so we made a few small chassis adjustments before the feature. Unfortunately, those changes made the kart worse instead of better.

Even with that, we were able to battle our way to a 2nd-place finish, so we’ll take it and keep building on what we’ve learned.

The facility has a lot of potential to be a really good track. With some improvements to trailer parking and track preparation, I think it’ll become a great place to race.

Race Night Recap

Everything was going great until it wasn’t.

We came out of the trailer strong and qualified 4th. The kart had awesome speed during the feature, running bumper-to-bumper with the leaders for a good part of the race. Unfortunately, our tires gave up once again, and that made it tough to stay competitive.

It’s hard racing against teams that have 30 sets of tires sitting in the trailer. We’re a small-budget team, so we’re limited on funds and tire inventory. That said, we’ve continued to show improvement every single weekend with both our chassis setup and engine program.

Qualifying in the top 4 and running with some of the biggest names in the sport—guys who have been doing this for 20–30 years—makes a frustrating night a little easier to swallow. It shows we’re heading in the right direction.

We’ll get everything cleaned up, regroup, and get ready for the next one.

Race day.

Points Race #3 is this Saturday! 🏁

We’re hoping all the bad luck is finally behind us. The motors are back and stronger than ever, the tires are ready, and now it’s all about staying ahead of the weather and making sure our prep work is on point.

Racing is never easy, but we’re excited about what we have heading into this weekend and can’t wait to get back on the track.
