🩰 Their first steps in the world of ballet! 🩷

Our Dance Movement class for ages 3–4 introduces young dancers to ballet through music, movement, creativity and storytelling. Dancers explore ballet stories, express themselves through movement, and build early dance foundations, all while having fun!

Plus, they’ll have the opportunity to take the stage in their very own Dance Movement Spring Concert

What a wonderful start to Nutcracker season!

Thank you to every dancer who joined us for Kingsport Ballet’s 2026 Nutcracker auditions this past weekend. We loved seeing so many dancers in the studio and are so excited for the season ahead! 🎄

A special thank you to Ms. Brantly Shapiro for leading our dancers through wonderful audition classes, and to our whole audition team for their time and care as we begin bringing this year’s production to life.

We are devastated at the passing of our dear friend, colleague, teacher and director Valeria Sinyavskaya, Artistic Director Emeritus of Kingsport Ballet. Her high technical and artistic standards and deep love of ballet influenced countless dancers during her tenure with us and across her lifetime. Her life and her contributions were remarkable. Her commitment was tireless and her love for this art form knew no bounds. May she rest in peace. We hope you’ll join us to celebrate her life.
