What a great day with great weather for the NYRR Team Championship 5 miler! We had 19 finishers at this challenging 5 mile course. I can give a shout out to each runner but everyone did an amazing job!! It was our first Team Championship race without Coach Witold! We still proudly carry his name in our thoughts and on our chests when we race! I know he would of been proud of all of us.
Check out the results below. It was great to have so many of us at this race and also to enjoy a great after race breakfast organized by Sarah!

We couldn't ask for better weather for this year's Citizens Bank Queens 10K! Sunny with no humidity. We fielded 13 runners who completed the twisty turning race. Starting with our leader Marek who managed a great time despite falling on the course's uneven surfaces, followed by Andrzej (placing in the top 10 age group))and Marcos who were only seconds apart. David, who doesn't race often, still put in a solid effort. Karen (this was her third-fastest 10K) and Diana were only 2 seconds apart in their pace times. Sue was right behind them!!! Sarah broke the 1 hour threshold and had a great 68.18 Age grade performance! Alan is inching back to a respectable time and had a negative split race. The sisters, Pam and Crisne ran together and finished at the exact same time! Finally, Neal and Ed who didn't run together also finished in the same exact time!! Wild!!! This is Ed's last race before he moves to Florida. We will miss his spirit and energy!!!
A very special shout out to Bob and Rudi as they came out to warm up and cheer for us during the race. They both showed some great team spirit!!
After the race we walked over to the Empanada Cafe in Corona and had some wonderful empanadas after the race!!!
It was a great time for the team!

We had and amazing11 Team Members running and all did well!! See the results below. Victor led the team with a great time and age graded % time qualifying again for the TCS NYC Marathon!. Followed by Tara cementing her racing comeback. Sue ran her marathon PR, closely followed by Karen, who PRed this event. Diana with her tough working schedule finished strong. Same can be said for an undertrained David. Nora F ran a strong race. Sarah's first Untied Airlines NYC Half Marathon was amazing with 2:17.18 finish time and a 65% age grade. Crisne ran only her second Half Marathon and finished with a great time. Nora F was smooth. Alan's goal was just to finish his 18th NYC Half Marathon and Neal accomplished his goa!
Some of us gathered at Cobblestones for a celebration. Congratulations to everyone who ran and thank you to family and friends who came out to cheer

Double 5k's this weekend started of with the Al Gordon 5K in Prospect Park. It was a chilly, foggy morning in the snow covered park with a challenging course. Gracjan leading the team in his first race running for us in many years with a great 7:20 pace!! Marcos was second coming in under 24 minutes followed by Tara, who maintained an under 8:00 minute pace and achieved a strong 63.26% age group ranking. Congratulations to Andzej for coming in second place in his age group! Bob and Neal toughed it out!!!
